    Decent but can’t hold much

I bought it, then returned it a couple weeks later. It’s a decent gimbal but my ZV-E10 with the stock kit lens was almost to much for it. When I put my 18-105mm lens on it, the gimbal completely died out. If you’re looking for a gimbal for GoPro’s and phones though, this will probably work for you.

Still no Canon connectivity or tech support

I purchased this gimbal after a similar frustrating experience with the Crane M3 gimbal. While the M2S is lighter than the M3 and much more affordable, I continued to have the same annoying issues with both of them. For the record, I was using them with a Canon M50 and smaller Canon mirrorless lenses so the camera package wasn't very big or heavy. Both gimbals got very good reviews for the M50 but not from me. While the M2S handled the camera fine given its lighter weight, I thought the joystick control on both gimbals was just too fast and whippy. Even when changing the setting to a slower pan, it was still pretty fast. However, the biggest fail for me with both units was the app, which would not connect to the M50, even though it has wifi and bluetooth. It's clear that Crane wants you to have a Sony camera on it, not a Canon. And none of the included USB connector cables worked with the M50 as well. In fact, it caused the camera to lock up. The directions for the app are terrible and not intuitive. It also required you to create an account with Crane, which really bothered me. Emails to Crane tech support never got answered and the phone number for the US support center did not work. So the M2S did work as a balancing gimbal but would not let you work camera controls from it. I couldn't justify keeping it.

    Setup was not fun

Their app didnt work super well, and to recalibrate every time is not great for a quick paced workflow with a camera. I do some vlogging and the setup would completely get in the way of a natural start. If you have a set or time to prep it is a great product.

Dont be frustrated by set up. Skip the instructions and find a good youtube tutorial. Balancing it properly can take a little work at first, and make sure you get it right because the motors arent super strong on this. Its a great gimbal and it makes my unstabilized camera with unstabilized lenses look awesome. Tried with the Sony ZV E10 with Sigma 30mm, Sony 50mm, and Rokinon 12mm with no issues. If you find it below $200, just buy it. You wont regret it.

This gimbal does NOT come with a smartphone holder

I purchased this to create a video from my smartphone. When I opened the box, I saw that there was no smartphone holder in the box, despite the fact that they show the holder along with the cables and light filters (that are included) on the Best Buy website. Be warned - this product does NOT come with a smartphone holder. I spent a lot of time with Best Buy Customer Service, but the the result of all that was that I would have to buy the holder separately, and was told to "rest assured, they would work on my concern." My concern being that the picture of the smartphone holder needs to be removed from this product listing, because they are misleading people. With regards to the gimbal itself, it's not the easiest thing to set up. I had to go to youtube to see how to get it balanced and ready to go. Unfortunately, until I actually get a smartphone holder, I have no idea if it works.

This camera gimbal has bad battery life, and can’t balance my camera on the Gimbal. Which I don’t recommend buying this. This company, customer services are terrible. The company will blame you for using the gimbal wrong even though it’s poorly made product. If I were you spend some more money on better gimbal. Right now it’s just sitting in my room. I wasted $100.

Its a little finicky to get set up and understand, but once you do get it working its really good, i do not reccommend cameras heavier than 500grams/ 1.1 pounds to be put on for maximum usage.
