    1) Upon charge up the indicator light just flutter vs. steady on. Called Zhinyu for replacement. Ended up taking to Best Buy for exchange. Unit was taken in and UPC code scanned to complete process. Replacement unit to be shipped to me. 2) Found out that my confirmation of return was a black unit but what I turned in was grey. Went to have this clarified and BB said that "Jet Black" was being picked up on SKU # label. 3) I was told to order one (grey) thru BB and would complete an exchange upon bringing in the original replacement that was being shipped to me...are you following all of this? 4) I get notification that my ordered grey unit was ready for pick up. So went in and had this ordered grey unit to be used to take the place of the black replacement unit...which has yet to arrive. Furthermore I was routinely checking UPS tracking number it was last seen in San Pablo, CA and handed over to USPS for delivery. Most recent check of USPS tracking number indicates..."NoTracking"...I presumed lost(?). Regardless all is good I was able to get credit on the ordered unit and was able to keep it as my replacment unit...got it? So how's Zhihyu gimbal? Well folks it's O.K. but there are a couple of things that should be done to improve the unit. 1) provide the ability to add weights to achieve center of gravity with the heavier iPhone Plus units especially if you opt to charge your iPhone while using gimbal 2) position of USB should be located at top of handle (like the newly introduced Osmos Mobile 2). Other than that I need to really complete a deep dive into using this...spent too much time waiting for replacement ~ 1 month.

It's not quit durable and long lasting. After a few months its having some problems. It's over heating and the mechanism is mess up. It wont calibrate. But when it's ok and working properly it's good. I took some good videos that is not shackey. Easy to use and pair to ur phone.

This is indeed a good product. I bought it based off an answered question from another customer that it was compatible with an iPhone 11 Pro Max; I have a Samsung S20 Ultra, so similar size and weight. It is compatible as far as communication from phone to device. However it definitely has trouble dealing with the phone's naked weight.

This is intuitive, easy to use gadget. I used it for my gopro on a trip with friends... everyone loved the quality of footage taken on this thing. The downside (but not unique to this product) is that it's hard to carry around. It's unfortunate that that I had to return this because of a malfunction; however, I believe that is just a defective unit.

Camera gimbals are becoming more mainstream over the years. As such, the price is dropping with every year. This gimbal is reasonably priced for what it does, and that is stabilizing your phone. It won’t do 100% of the work, but for most, it will be totally sufficient! Most pros don’t use phones for their video work, so this product is not aimed at the pros anyway!

I was looking for a gimbal to provide stability and movie like effects on videos shot on GoPro Hero 5. After extensive research I was down to either this or the Steadicam Volt. I bought the Volt but returned it in a few days (volt is a great product but it takes quite an effort to get to balance before you turn it on). In comparison the Zhiyun turned out to be super easy! Works great with smartphone (i used with iPhone 7 with cover on) as well as Hero 5 (here is a trick I saw online - use a pink eraser to give it a bit more room when attaching the Hero5 to the clamp). The app is pretty good too. Overall 5 of 5!

I bought this Gimbal stabilizer few months back with just knowledge from watching videos. BestBuy had a great deal so I just went to the store and picked it up. Couldn’t even wait to order and get it delivered. It fits my iPhone X perfectly without the case. Stabilization of the video is just awesome. All I have to do is to use the buttons to turn my phone around while taking the video. I also used it a selfie stick. BTW setup was so easy. You can recharge it with a micro USB. Recommend it for beginners like you. You’ll love it.

I love this for my iPhonex. The video you capture on this is night and day when just using your hand to stablize. Decently priced and was one of the first to start making the gimbals more reasonable because they were selling way lower than others. By $200 at least. Battery last a long time. Perfect for the iPhone X. It worked fine w that plus too when I had a 7plus but you can definitely tell the X size is better. Also. Doesn’t tend to suffer from competitor that has issue with iPhone built in stabilization. The hardware part you can’t turn off and some gimbals would have difficult with it causing this issue where the video would wobble. I paid under $110, including two year warranty, and use it for recording videos at my local church. The stabilizer is very good. Takes time being used to the buttons and movement, on top of the app (not a fan of the app honestly). I think for a beginner like me, it's a good start.

I purchased one of these when they first came out for around $139 here at Best Buy. Few years later and you can pick one up much cheaper but they are still selling strong. Let that sink in. Worth every penny. I do reviews on Youtube and would like to say that using this with the iPhone 11 Pro Max, when tilting down the phone will just flop due to the weight. When this gimbal first came out, I believe the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus were the available iPhones at the time and it worked flawlessly. Using the iPhone SE 2020 or any phone of similar weight, you'll be set.

Build quality is a little cheap but this gimbal works wonders. Produces very smooth video with no camera shake. Works well with my iPhone 8 Plus. I also purchased an adapter for my GoPro to use with this as well and it’s great.

Ordered one of these, and after playing with it a couple of days, was so impressed with the results that we ordered a second one so we could record with two phones without having to share a gimbal! Got beautiful videos at Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce, and when we look back at pics and videos, these are definitely the highlights! This model was very easy to balance and very easy to learn to use. I also had great results using the tripod mount to put it on the end of an extendable monopod and making those sweeping "ground level to overhead" shots.

All in all a mixed review for the Zhiyun Smooth-Q gimbal. There are plenty of features I like: The ease of switching the orientation of the smartphone; and the balance set up; The huge 12-hour battery; The handle controls work well, to name a few.

We had to look at a few youtube videos to figure out how to get the Bluetooth to work between the phone and the device. Long story short you need to download the app, we found a few, first we tried ZY Play but couldn't connect out iPhone 7 Plus then we downloaded the assistant app and it worked perfectly. There is another app that is $15, we did not download that one and thankfully we didn't need to. Still working out the particulars of this item but so far really enjoying the quality it produces and the ease of use once you get past the Bluetooth issue. I absolutely recommend this item, make sure you watch some of the youtube videos to help you through the details of different modes. Also the company has a facebook page and someone there will respond to your message if you need further assistance. They do ask for you to take a video of "the issue" though.

This gimble works well with cell phones but it struggles with Hero cameras, i used a Hero 6 and have tried a Hero 7, the weigth of the Go-Pro cameras seem to be an issue but it works well. not sure if the higher price ones would have the same issue.

Good value basic gimbal This was purchased for a school project that needed some movements during filming production. It made a huge difference as post production was a lot easer and the quality was so much better. Other teams that did not use a gimbal was at a disadvantage and the quality of their videos was sometimes unpleasant to watch. At the sale price that I purchased this gimbal for, it worth the price of the excellent class grade we received. I know there are better (more expensive) gimbals out there but this worked well for our use.

This is my first phone stabilizer so my past experience with broadcast quality video/tripod setups Isa tough comparison. But considering the ease of use and final output, as well as the low price, dollar for dollar nothing compares.
