Very High tech Recorder

Great recorder that fits in a musician's carry bag

I set it to "Auto" and let it stay on for the duration of the practice session. At home, I edit out the rehearsal chatter, and usual jokes. I send to the players. It is so interesting to have a 2 hour rehearsal, but ending up with 15 minutes of recorded music. Hummm...? Great way to show the ensemble how NOT to have a serious rehearsal.
