Excellent for recording voice lessons. I had purchased several cheaper digital tape recorders but they did not work. Sales assistant advised me on this one and it was just what I was looking for!

We purchased this unit after reading many reviews for similar products and are happy we did. It performs as advertised and the cost was inline with other units with similar features.

Item gets great sound and audio quality. Came out in very good condition.

I use this to capture foley sounds for podcasts and other audio productions and it's pretty awesome, however I did have to buy one of the fuzzy wind screens (makes the recorder look like a Troll doll) to cut down on the wind noise. I would recommend this.

Love, love, love my recorder! I haven't had an opportunity to use it to the fullest but the recording clarity is unreal! I'm extremely happy with my purchase and highly recommend it.

I'm very satisfied with the improvements to this pro model! I have the original H4N and I love it. Now the pro has arrived and it's features are improved. Great product.

Have been doing some experimenting with this recorder and still have not figured out all the capabilities of this unit. The ability to select format of recordings is nice also.

I had a Zoom recorder before but lost it. I decided to upgrade to a more expensive model and am enjoying the added enhancements.

Essentially the same as the original H4N. Just a frat value audio recorder good for use with all sorts of Mics. And good built in mics for recording foley.

Recommend it for all purpose recording whthere public meetings, dictation, small groups. Offers many recording options including wav and stereo formats.

I use this recorder for my journalism projects and I am never disappointed. Sound quality is great even out doors.

Works great for recording audio in large meeting rooms with onboard mics. Has option of adding external mics if needed.

the H4n is an awesome digital recorder that produces great resolution when I'm not contently changing batteries and defeats the portability of field recorder. At lease include a power cord.

I’ve had the older model before, and I loved it! I use this to record phone interviews! Great bit of tech!

Too bad, though, that it doesn't come bundled with the AC adaptor and USB cable. It was a hassle to have to buy them separately.

The only thing that is a small setback is depending on size memory determined how long startup is

This recorder comes highly recommended by many top video creators, which is why I bought it. It would be nice if it booted up faster but a very small whine for all the features and good value that comes with it.

Using this to power my Rode Ntg 3 mic and I can not be any happier.
