There is nothing negative I can say about this recorder. It has many input and output option, including XLR connections. It has many different mics that can be attached. Sound quality is impressive and permits professional recordings with a very portable device.

It seems like I just purchased the zoom 4 and had amazing recording sessions with it when all of a sudden while walking through my favorite store, BAM! I see a ZOOM 5!! So of course I bought it and it is amazing the improvements that were made which I never even thought needed improvements!

Bought this to record live bar bands and and outside gigs. Especially like the ability to use the xlr inputs and mix the front xy capsule, plus the xy in interchangeable with other zoom capsules.

This product produces a clear recording. has lots of controls. is a good buy.

Over all satisfied. I would recommend this to anyone who needs one.

I bought this recorder and it is exactly what I was looking for. I use it for recording with my DSLR and for music recording. It also is perfect for lecture recording.

The Zoom H5 is a fantastic little recorder. It feels great in the hand, and works really well as in the field. Battery life is great, and the preamps work well for the price. Having physical knobs makes this well worth the purchase. Would highly recommend.

I purchased the H5 to record my piano lessons. It works great. Also has 4-track recording capability, and with included DAW software is very powerful. Received it before it was promised. Very happy with this purchase.

To my surprise, it does everything I need it to do and the sound quality is amazing. This is a pretty complex device (I'm a novice). And comes with great downloadable software.

Great product. Quality is beyond my expectations. I use a DSLR canon for most of my shots and had a Rode mic but the H5 is the best option I have.
