This really is a great movie - clever dialogue, great plot, endearing characters, amazingly well thought out development of the animal world setting, and some really good lessons/morals to boot. Also a great mix of intrigue, conflict, and funny scenes as well. My 3-year old son LOVES this movie, and so do I. Truly an underrated movie, I would definitely put it on the same level as Frozen - not as emotional, but with even more imaginative and clever aspects to it. Well worth the purchase!

I bought this for family. It was on sale for BF 2016 sale. It includes 3 formats with 2 disks one Bluray and other DVD. Note it does not include 3D format at this price pf $8 which is OK for my needs. I can use Bluray at home, DVD home or on road, and digital download with code on the go or portable at different locations away from home. The movie itself is of course like some other Disney, a collectible and watched multiple times. Best Buy definitely had excellent price/offer for the product.

This movie is a must see for families. It is entertaining for all.

Using predators and prey species as race allegories was pretty clever. This movie teaches some pretty important lessons about race. It may sail right over your kids' heads if they're young though. My kids enjoy the movie but still haven't figured out the deeper meanings. It's got the surface layer for kids, and the deeper level for older kids/adults. Sort of like Inside Out does.

I got a good deal on steelbook and the movie is very good

Bought this for one of my grandsons. it was available for a reasonable price and is a quality product, disc and case. The movie itself is one of those children's movies that is also fun for adults. Kind of reminds me of a 1940's comedy mystery updated to present day turned into a kids movie. I don't think you'll be disappointed. No trouble playing it or anything like that.

The creative minds ad Disney Animation have created a master piece. Not just this movie, but the colorful rich world in which it is set. I've seen this movie 4 times now (2 x in theaters and 2 x on Blu-Ray), and I know there are still things I'm missing. At it's core is a clever police procedural, but with a wit and charm that only Disney can produce. On top of that are outstanding characters, brilliant sub-cultures and enough Eater Eggs to make omelets for everyone!

Zootopia uses the most impressive animation technology that I have seen thus far. I enjoyed the movie in the theatres, but the bluray really shows off the medium in a way the theatre could not. The colors are wonderfully vivid, the small details are incredibly realistic, and they do a great job mimicking real life while clearly and unapologetically an animation. The story of course is great, also. Bottom line: If you're going to buy the movie, get the bluray.

I took my 8YO son to this movie when it was in the theaters. Frankly, I didn't have high expectations. Not a big Jason Bateman fan, and I thought the sloth scene that was in the trailer would be the highlight. I was amazed by how much thought and depth the writers put into the story! Driving home, I wasn't sure if some of the deeper messages would be lost on my son, but he was able to articulate some of the themes very well. This is a must have family film!!

From the largest elephant to the smallest shrew, the city of Zootopia is a mammal metropolis where various animals live and thrive. When Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) becomes the first rabbit to join the police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law. I never thought this movie would be any good, boy I was wrong. Great family movie.

Was not too excited to see Zootopia at first. My daughter talked me into watching it with her. Actually really enjoyed the movie. It is now one of my daughter's favorites. It is a testament to the main character's will and determination and goes to show that you can do things when you apply yourself. Also has a good detective story rolled in and some fun jokes and gags. Strongly recommended for family viewing. Especially for those with daughters.

While this is an animated Disney movie with talking animals that kids will no doubt love, the movie tackles some off the major problems in our society today. The chances are kids will not pick up on this, but the core issue the characters face in Zootopia are very similar to the racial issues out there today. As always Disney delivers with an entertaining film that has a pretty important message. They also manage to not preach to the audience too much.

Kids (and I) like animation and we have been treated with more popular choices lately. Zootopia is one of my grand-children's favorites, and its mix of action, comedy, and an up-lifting story grabs their and my attention and holds it. Prejudices exposed, beliefs in "human" nature challenged, and excitement are present. It is a heart-warming story and fun to watch. It is in the top 3 of movies we are watching with the grand-children.

I took my kids to see this movie and they loved it.

I bought this for an early start on Christmas shopping and because the story was a zany romp. The rabbit wanting to join the police force was both an 'underdog suceeding' plot and a quietly pointed lesson on just what jobs women can do when they put their mind to overcoming prejudice. Kids will focus on the fun parts & hopefully absorb the universal acceptance message along the way. It's no longer an Old-Bull, er...Old-BOY network any more!

I'll let the film stand for itself. It's funny, intelligent, and entertaining. It also contains a few features on the making of the film, especially the decision to change the perspective of the film from the fox to the rabbit. They also wanted to put collars on all of the predators which had such a negative effect on the audience that previewed the film that they got rid of the ideal altogether. You'll have to see the featurette to find out how.

This is a great movie! If you have not seen it; you should! Lots of adult humor to this one! The DMV scene is great! The 'Godfather' mouse is hilarious too! Thought I should pick this one up for the family before it is dropped off of streaming services. Was a great price and great that Best Buy has a pick up in store option...though I wish it was for anything online, within reason, not just dvds, etc. that is in a certain store.

At first, I thought this may be just another film displayed on the big screen. However, I later read that Zootopia was getting positive reviews and eventually got a certified fresh rating on rotten tomatoes with a 98% rating. When I went to go see this at Cinemark, I thought the critics weren't wrong at all. The movie has a well-paced plot, likable characters, and a timely message. I highly recommend this Disney film to any Disney fan.
