I was hoping to enjoy some 3D action with this movie but there barely anything in 3D. Great movie so just get the BD version.

Turns out, the movie is pretty sad. Kids did not like it. Sorry, might recommend for adults, but not kids.

my grandchild just loves this movie and wants to watch it everyday. overall the the price was a good deal.

Granddaughters loved it! They watch if frequently and even a good movie for adults

The DVD PACKAGE was great looking and the kids enjoyed the movie.

This is a review of the movie which i've seen 3 times not of the Bluray. I will be buying this Combopack though. Zootopia is both stunning cgi and magnificent storytelling. It isn't all good feeling throughout instead focusing on a more realistic story. There are plenty of laughs and happy scenes but also some that could scare very young children and others scenes that are sad. Most Disney movies have both sad and happy scenes in them (Inside Out was a very good movie but tried it's hardest to make you sad) Zootopia got 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and the negative reviews that took this away you could tell were simply to ruin this score and get people to click on their review website. (I've read the negative reviews and they didn't make much sense, They try to fabricate something to be mad about) Without spoiling the movie (and the description on some sites for purchasing the dvd do spoil a good amount) it will have you feeling all the emotions and it may scare the youngest viewers but Disney has made amazing movies with much more shocking scenes (Lion King for example) I think it deserves the (Virtually) 100% it earned on Rotten Tomatoes and I know it will be just the beginning of the franchise.

This movie was fun to watch all the way through. I enjoyed the crime drama elements of action/adventure & mystery peppered within. There are enough twists to keep an audience entertained, enough comical moments to keep an audience chuckling, AND enough heartfelt moments to keep an audience engaged. Disney got the casting right for this movie and they even managed to resist the urge of "offing" any of the protagonist's family (or any of the antagonist's or supporting characters' family for that matter). WAY TO GO DISNEY! The animation is on target for what we've come to expect from a big budget computer animated film. Beautifully rendered and the details are crisp enough to feel like they are really a part of that world. Some of the most enjoyable elements of this movie from my perspective is the animation of the environment(s), locations, and details therein. I've watched the movie with my kids several times and love to see things like; the hippos at the monorail station swimming up to and stepping onto the platform from the water. Then, by design, air forced through the vents under their feet quickly dry their suits and ties so they can carry on to whatever business they must attend. Why do I like this? I couldn't tell you. I'm sure there is some book, website, or professor that could pinpoint that part of my psyche. But I think that I like it as much as I do for the simple fact that, however ridiculous the thought of hippos even being in a terminal waiting to board a monorail for work is, it MAKES SENSE in that world. Every time I watch it I think, " Well, yeah. They need some way to get to the station and it's easier for hippos to swim than walk". Then I think, "Good thing they set up some type of grate system with forced air to both dry their clothes and catch the excess water that falls". (Because we wouldn't want the other monorail station visitor to slip and fall, right?) Also, the variety in locations is satisfyingly appealing as well. Basically all of the environments you might find animals, squeezing one central location exactly like a dense urban area has it's districts. Giant freezer units blow freezing air all throughout the "Tundra Town" section, while Giant heaters keep things toasty in the "Sahara Square" division (Interestingly enough, the way it seems to be designed is that they use the residual heat that is produced from the freezer units' coils to assist the heaters into heating "Sahara Square. Brilliant!). Keeping the Rainforest District at it's optimum saturation level isn't a problem because there is an intricate sprinkler system within and above the canopy supplying the district with it's required 100+ inches of rainfall a annually. Even the smaller mammals have their own tiny section where, as seen in the movie, cotton tail size rabbit comparatively makes the functional cars, buildings and roadways seem like toys... ... but I digress. I really like this movie and enjoy the 3D element as well. But as another reviewer commented, this movie is enjoyable with or without 3D.

Zootopia is a great movie for the entire family to enjoy. I wasn't expecting to like this movie as much as I did. My 2 kids (6 &4) loved it so much they wanted to watch it again at home. They begged me daily to buy the movie so I'm glad it's available to purchase.

A great accomplish for DISNEY in animation! a sweet tender story of friendship, Love, Courage and determination to reach a life seeking goal of your dreams. A never ending fun from begin to end. An Amazing parallel between how the animal kingdom can live in harmony with each other species and how humans should too. An instant classic!!!

It was such a good movie that I could not help but see it twice in theaters, once in America and once in Japan when I was visiting, you will not be upset seeing this movie, perfect for all ages!!

I have always been a huge fan of animated flicks...when they're done right. Thank you, Disney, Pixar and Dreamworks. All others, step away from the attempt, please. Zootopia is officially the reigning KING of talking animal movies. As a whole, the movie, the writing, the story, the characters and the world were equally amazing. That said, one must delve deeper into what truly makes this movie stand apart from "the other" animated flicks about animals. This one had, not only beyond belief imaginative and creative everything, it was also deeply profound, thought-provoking and gorgeous, to say the least. I can honestly say that it would take me less time to say what I didn't like about it, then it would to list what I absolutely LOVED about it. So here goes: I hated the part where....wait....oh yeah, the part when....no, wait....what about when.......yeah, I can't do it. There was NOTHING, AND I MEAN NOTHING bad about this movie. Seriously folks. It was a true gem from start to finish. BTW: The DMV scene? Am I right? Yeah, it was amazing, we all know.

One of the best Disney movies in a long while. Looks great in 4K too.

Bought this movie as a blind buy. I had some reservations given that one of the directors was one of the directors on Tangled (which I loved, but was so disappointed to hear that the directors stood in the way of Stephen Schwartz working on the lyrics and the movie becoming a full-blown musical). But as a huge fan of Disney Animation Studios, I picked it up, and loved this original story. It doesn't come with the same aura as Disney's fairy tale films, but many of their non-fairy tale films have done just fine – The Rescuers and Oliver & Company being among my favorites in that category. Zootopia was great, Judy Hoops is quite possibly the most adorable thing ever, and it's GREAT that Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has resumed releasing Disney Animation Studios films on 3D Blu-ray. Now if only we'd also get Frozen and Big Hero 6 in 3D...

The movie in my opinion, is a kids version of what is going on in the world today regarding stereotyping people and judging others. It shows them that it is wrong to do it because you don't know what each person is capable of doing because not everyone is the same. It also shows children that despite your background you can be friends with everyone and get along to accomplish great things. Diversity can be a benefit to society.

This movie is family fun for everyone and shows the pros and cons of our efforts to grow as a society.

I was hesitant to watch this at first. I had heard that there were messages about race in the movie. Tired of all of the hate in the news I really didn't want to watch something that would contain more. Although I can see some parallels and messages I feel like they were handled in a good manner and not an over the top fashion. I loved all of the connections to today like Judy's 'carrot' phone like an Apple phone. The characters were fun and lovable. Jenny Slate's performance was a fun one and enjoyed seeing her in animation. Zootopia is a movie we've watched over and over again in the house and are sure to keep watching!
