Crystal clear sound, built solid, hard to beat in this price range. Is this thing going to shake down the walls with its built in 4" subwoofer drivers? No. However, what it does do is faithfully reproduce sound, including the bass, all the way down to 42 Hz. That's not easy to do with something that does not have an external sub. For those seeking more bass, the newest models do have a subwoofer out and it will clearly be labeled on the box if it has it. I found myself reaching to turn down the bass setting during a late night watching of a show with some bass heavy music in a scene, but stopped myself when I realized how good it sounded and was shocked that it could actually reproduce it. The AccuVoice setting works phenomenal when the vocals need a boost, especially when listening at lower volumes. You will be hard pressed to find something that sounds this good and is as easy to set up and use.

I nearly had my mind made up on purchasing an LG or Sony soundbar till I stumbled onto this ZVOX SB500. It wasn't hooked up in the Magnolia section, so I nearly passed it up but figured I'd ask to test it since the initial build quality seemed really good. I'm glad I did. The sound quality was much better than the Sony soundbar it replaced. The bass this soundbar creates is pretty incredible. Much nicer sounding than the Sony with the dedicated subwoofer. The remote is pretty cheap but only used to adjust the treble and bass occasionally since the bar can be programmed to respond to practically any TV remote. Glad I bought it.

This bar sounds great. But only comes with optical output. So does not have HDMI can take place of the latest and future audio protocols

Did not receive any instruction on the working of the unit, the engineer was in a tremendous hurry to be gone.

The sound bar and TV were installed by the Geek Squad and for about a month it was great. It died with no lights after about a month. I spent an hour on the phone with Geek Squad and they said that I can bring it to the store for testing or pay $99 for them to come out. I purchased a five year service plan and they did not honor it. Stay clear; you have been warned!

I purchase the zvox because it was on sale. Got home and set it up, which was easy to install, but could never get it to work with my tv remote even after resting the sounds bar 5 times! Sound quality was okay. I return it and bought instead the Sonos yes a bit more expensive than the zvox but well worth it

Had to return it because the sun was way too quiet on highest setting

I love the way it sounded at Best Buy but in my house it doesn’t sound as good. Not worth what I paid.

I've had a few different systems over the years and this doo-dad is by far the best I've ever purchased for the money. I found that it's difficult to match the sound of the old fashioned surround system without spending a ton of money. I purchased this because it had the sub built in, after comparing it to the Bose Soundtouch 300 that I would have had to spend nearly 3 times more on to get with the sub woofer. Longer story shorter.. It is much more powerful than I expected it to be and the sound is amazing. The setup was simple and we love the bluetooth!

I followed the sales staff recommendation for this sound bar and loved it for the first 11 months and then it stopped working. Now it is a very expensive stand for my TV. Very disappointed in the quality.
