I purchased this item to put two HDMI cords together I don't know why it's so hard to find a coupler this is the only one I could find at Best Buy and it was like goldplated very expensive but it's built very well I must say and it does work so it does it's job just fine but it was over $25 just for one and that seems a little bit overpriced to me so there's good and there's bad but in the end I'm a happy camper.

I am really happy I found this piece to extend my HDMI cable. We have a cable mounted behind a wall that was hard to get to and instead of having to reroute a new, longer one, I can now just plug in a new one to the existing!

Pretty handy when ur 2 ft HDMI cable just wont do the job, BUT your 2 ft HDMI cable AND your 3 ft HDMI cable coupled together allows just the perfect length from the hotel room Flatscreen to the foot edge of the bed without the danger of your HP laptop falling to its disappointingly inconvenient demise

Had a project where I needed just over the 25 ft cable length I ran, and this was the perfect solution. Makes a solid connection, I have pulled the cables and moved them around a lot, and still secure.

I have a TV mounted above the fireplace and have all the wiring routed through the wall to an AV port. The problem is that all the cables are HDMI with male connectors and I needed to plug in a streaming device that normally plugs into an open HDMI port. This HDMI coupler made it easy to connect it to one of the pre-wired HDMI cables and I had the streaming device up and running immediately. It is a solidly built device, and while it may be a tad pricy for what it does, in my situation it was a lot easier and cheaper than trying to access the the TV or figure out how to run power to the device without ugly cables showing.
