definitely a great phone with a great battery! the 30x zoom is nice for shots of the moon or maybe some star shots although i personally don't do that. the whole UI is normal and easy to use as to be expected and the build quality of the device is great. it's definitely worth it if you need to upgrade and the 120hz is definitely pleasing to my eyes.
Sales Rep was outstanding and she really knew everything I needed to know about the new Galaxy S21 5G Phone. She allowed a discount for my Galaxy S20 Phone that I was able to turn in. The Galaxy S21 5G is a far superior phone to the Galaxy S20. Samsung made a lot of improvements for the S21 and having 5G makes a big difference. Also battery life is longer than the S20 and much faster for charging.
I ordered a brand new white S21 yesterday on Bestbuy and chose to curbside pickup at Bestbuy store located at 1717 Harrison St,SF.
When I received the box in my car, I found the box looks dusty and has tape marks on top of the box, I thought it’s just because of the box been moved around so I opened the S21 box.
After opening it I found a broken QR code on the side of the box(it’s covered and hidden when handed to me), there is also a lot of dust on the back of this phone which should not happen, also the packaging of the instruction and charging cable is a bit worn. I immediately realized it’s a USED phone and went to store for changing!
The mobile department manager doesn’t believe it’s a used S21 at the beginning but did a search in Bestbuy system and found this phone was indeed SOLD a couple days ago and got RETURNED, then someone restocked it as a BRAND NEW and sent to me. It’s a shame.
My order was refunded in the end as they have no brand new white S21 in stock. I placed another order to deliver to my home today, hope it’s a brand new one this time... I really like the look of S21 btw.

I am so insanely furious about this phone. I got one on February 9th, an open box to be exact. By the 21st the lower speaker stopped working, and more concerning, the SIM card continued to eject while still firmly in the phone which reminds in the case. They replaced it under the 14 day exchange policy on February 22. Now today, the 24th...SIM card is ejecting again...This makes me want to go to Apple...This is a flagship phone from one of the largest cellphone manufacturers in the world, and it is complete garbage...Best Buy will be seeing me today or tomorrow to cough up another phone...
I'm really enjoying this upgrade from an S9 to the S21.
I prefer the flat screen of the S21 over the curved screen of the S9.
The screen is still beautiful, and the VRR 120Hz looks much smoother than the 60Hz of the S9.
I also like the buttons only on 1 side of the phone.
Transferring Apps and Data was quick and easy via the included cable.
No real learning curve for the new phone. Does have the option to move to gestures if you choose that route.
128 GB works well for me.
Fast & Responsive
Cameras are a real upgrade both the back and selfie.
No wall charger. Additional cost getting a fast charger.
No SD card slot. The increased base storage works for me, but it would have been nice to have it.
Screen seems a little less bright, but only a marginal difference.
Finger print scanner is less reliable and takes a little longer than the S9. It works well enough, even with a thick screen protector.
I purchased this phone to replace an aging Samsung S7 phone. Staying within the Samsung family made it very easy to transfer my contacts, messages, texts, emails and more. The only downside was that the saved passwords did not transfer for the apps. I have had this phone for a little over a week and am still discovering new features. The greatest feature so far is the battery. I am on my second day since the last charge and I still have 59% battery life left. I should also point out that I get a stronger signal and am getting 5G where I live in rural Southern Wisconsin. I haven’t put the camera to a full test but I will in the coming days and weeks.

Samsung Galaxy S21 review
The Galaxy S21 isn't the premium, top-end handset in Samsung's 2021 lineup, but it's still a phenomenal smartphone that does a lot right.Full Review
A:AnswerIt's brand new and unlocked. I bought it from Best Buy to hook up on my Tmobile service. All I had to do was put my Sim card from my old phone into this S21. If you need any help just ask the Best Buy team members. I asked them every question twice to be sure I would be able to use it with my Tmobile service.
A:AnswerThat is a great question, Amintcio. If a phone comes unlocked, you have the option of which carrier's service is connected to the device. We would suggest contacting the carrier to ensure their services can be added. Thank you for asking this question. ^Kayla
