I own the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the GS22 Ultra as my business phone...both are great phones so I can give a review without bias. What makes the GS22 Ultra shine is that it does so many things right when it comes to productivity and the basics. The trade in credits and promotions took $850 off the price making this phone a great value buying it launch day. Here are the pros n cons:
1. The GS22 Ultra has the best screen of any smartphone. All content including videos, web pages, pics, or games look good.
2. The design looks good and the build quality is premium. The GS22 Ultra is wider than the GS21 Ultra which has improved the viewing experience overall.
3. The new modem really helps with getting a consistent 5G signal. This will obviously be different for everyone based on location but I can say I'm getting a much stronger signal around Los Angeles and I get a strong signal at home...which has been rare.
4. Faster charging is a big deal. I'm able to charge my phone from 40%-100% in about an hour.
5. The S Pen is a handy tool for taking group selfies, for taking notes, and being the remote control when playing videos.
6. The cameras are great. Night pics have been improved and the GS22 Ultra is the best at zoom pics.
1. Battery life is average and the iPhone 13 Pro Max gets 2 hours more and it's noticeable. You can adjust the settings but when you buy a flagship phone you shouldn't have to turn off the best features or lower screen resolution.
2. The camera shutter has a lag...the Pixel 6 and iPhone don't have this issue. If you try to take pics of a moving object like a child or pet the lag will cause a blur.
3. Its time to ditch the curved glass. The curved glass is a liability for the S Pen, gaming, and when watching video content in landscape mode.
Bottom line...the GS22 Ultra is the best and best looking Android phone you can buy as of March 2022. With the new design, S Pen, monthly software updates, and improved hardware like the new modem...this phone is built to last for years while delivering a great user experience for years.
Beautiful phone, amazing camera. Upgraded from my Note 8, it was time and I was still very happy with my Note. This phone is amazing. Camera is one of the most important factors in considering a phone for me. My only complaint is the fact that there's no wall charger in the box and it's a usb c to usb c wire. You need a 45w charging block and that coupled with a 6ft wire (best buy brand) is $26. For the price of the phone is something that should be included.
I love this phone! I still haven't discovered all the things it can do. But, the camera is exceptional! I am not going to carry a camera around put love to take pictures. That is why I chose this phone! The Pictures are exactly as taken. The darker photo was at night. it was very dark out and the picture turned out great!
My first review about this phone was related to the untimely delivery, sadlyas of yet it seems the phone was not worth waiting for. The bluetooth on this phone does not always play well, such as when paired to my Sprinter van i have only been able after much fiddling to get either calls or audio but not both. When connected to my worktunes bluetooth headset I have frequent pauses, usually i attribute that to the headset but I've used the worktunes with many phones quite reliably. The camera seemed great till i noticed lots of blurry photos and the other day a video that was breathing in and out of focus, mostly out. There are strange UI hiccups and quick blackouts along with freezing within apps that have not been experienced on other devices. Face detection sucks and the pin requires you to hit an OK button which is just kind of stupid but I have not messed with fingerprint.
Bought the S22 Ultra to replace my Note 10+ and I'm happy with the new Note replacement. However, the main stand-out difference I'm seeing compared to my old phone is in the camera, which we've all heard about. It does live up to its reputation, especially when using in low light and also with using the zoom and its corrective software. Other functionality compared to the 10+, which also has a great camera, is not noticeably different, however I'm not a gamer nor do I use the phone for any high CPU usage tasks. I was able to get a $100 discount by pre-ordering from BB and they also gave me a $200 BB gift card, which made the $1299 price tag less painful.
My review is... I pre ordered on the first day. S22 ultra 256g. It did not come in on Feb 25th. Still no word. No one at the store will tell me anything. I know some orders are delayed, but mostly 512g or 1tb models. Even here people are reviewing this phone so why don't I have mine. Why does it say I can have it in 4 days if I order now but yet a kid at the store said the delay could be until August!! Best Buy, inform your customers what is going on!!
Fantastic camera with Samsung software update get 100x zoom. You would think at 100x it be grainy but it's as sharp as can be. It takes time to learn this new phone, it's very different from previous models. It's has several quriks and eventually slows to a crawl when you have 30 apps or so open. It doesn't seem to auto truncate apps as advertised. Numerous quriks which they blame on Android 12. The camera alone is worth the hassles if your into stunning pictures. If not I would wait till it's at least out a year and hopefully they will have fix the quriks.

Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra reviewThe Note that isn't a Note, yet it may very well end up being the last Note - Samsung's Galaxy S22 Ultra has some big shoes to fill. Attempting to appeal
A:AnswerNope. Contacted them but was just told that a pre-order isn't a guarantee. I'm so mad because they take my money and then no phone and no explanation on why I havent received it. They messed up and the way they are handling it and treating customers is not right. Definitely will think twice before buying through best buy again.
Thank you for reaching out and taking an interest in whether the Galaxy S22 Ultra (Unlocked) has an SD Card Slot, its burgundy color similarity, and whether it will work in Europe. Unfortunately, it doesn't include an expandable memory space. Unlocked phones by Samsung works on multiple networks, and make sure that you have a compatible SIM card. Please note that sim cards must be compatible with the area's available networks. International calling, data services, and coverage vary by the network provider. Contact provider for details.
You may visit our website for more information about unlocked phones: https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/phones/unlocked-by-samsung/.
Please see Page 8 for its user manual, and you will notice that the device only has a card slot that fits with the size of its actual sim card:

A:AnswerAnswered this once already and I can't seem to make a correction to the previous entry. Anyway, it seems the S22s do have lidar, but they don't have the time of flight sensor which is likely what's needed for the 3d scanning. Either way it's a bummer as that was a really cool feature.
