SanDisk - Refurbished Sansa Clip 2GB* MP3 Player

I bought two of these as Christmas gifts for my niece and nephew (10 and 8 yrs old). They LOVE them and I like that the product was easy for them to immediately start using. We preloaded music for them and they took it from there. I bought one of these a few years ago for my college age daughter and she still has it and uses it occasionally for the recording feature. This is a reliable product and relatively inexpensive, which was important to me. I didn''t want to give them something that would break a week later but I didn't want to break the bank either! Great value for the money

I also own an iPod via my iPhone. Important only in that I still get a lot of use from my Sansa Clip MP3 player. This is the third purchase I've made for this same player. I lost my first original unit while traveling. I purchased the same model as a refurb a few years ago and has been as good as my first purchase. This purchase was a gift for my brother and was a refurb. This 2gb Sansa Clip holds enough music to keep me and I'm sure anyone happy. I travel a lot and get a lot of use from it. It has built in FM radio which also comes in handy. The battery life is excellent. Getting music on and off is as easy as drag and drop. I am Mac based and I'm sure just as easy to use if Window's platform. For the price paid you can't ask for a better value. The refurb was only $19.95 including shipping from Best Buy.com. The 2gb is really being replaced by the 4gb newer models of the Sansa Clip line, so if you can't find the 2gb model I'd simply look to upgrade to the 4gb model. The earphones that come with the Sansa are OK, but it's also worth the investment in buying a good pair of earbuds or similar. Don't let the fact that you might spend more for a set of earbuds or earphones than you paid for the Sansa Clip itself deter you from considering upgrading your headset. A personal choice and you will still enjoy the Sansa Clip with the earphones that come with the Clip. This is a great player offering lots of features at a great price.

This is the second that I bought of this model. The first was about 2 years ago. I thought I was buying a newer model because the ad promised that the MP3 player had a slot for expansion with an SD card. It does not. I don't regret buying this unit since it's a great value. I prefer to use it with another pair of headphones, the type that go in the ear but also attach to the outer ear.

Works good for my use. No big features but a good MP-3 player. Sound is good. No problems as yet.

It was lost, so I never received it through Best Buy. I ended up paying more for the same item, new. But other than that, customer service was pretty good. It is a good product, though.

Headphones and sansa's socket lose fitting causing headphones to cut in and out when sansa is moved around . Other than that it works great. I will not buy another refurbished product again. In all fairness I think I would've been completly happy with it if I bought it brand new.
