Great as far as I can tell
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the first pair of over-the-ear headphones I have purchased. They surpass the sound quality of sound from my current desktop speakers - which are nothing to stick your nose up to - as well as any other non-over-the-ear headphone I have used; the latter exceedingly so. I cannot compare them to higher-end headphones for lack of experience, however I can say they are definitely sufficient for the average customer. I found the level of bass very pleasing. I guess that's what you're paying for with this set. I recommend these to consumers looking for good quality as well as paying less than $50 - those were my goals. They aren't cheap-made. They are comfortable enough, and the rigidity and choppiness of the motion of the ears as they move up and down their tracks is needed to keep them in place once in the desired configuration. I found the noise reduction rather insignificant. I would say 30% or less noise reduction. Any noise reduction there is simply from the insulation provided by the cushioning as seen from the product description. Of course, if you're listening to music, then the competing sounds aren't very noticeable, but I am reviewing the actual noise-reducing ability of the headphones in silence. Thus only 4 for craftsmanship. Again, still great for average consumers. All headphones with wires have less than preferable durability. It gets a 3 and not a 2 because fragility is implied. If you are a less-than-gentle person (or do things like go to bed wearing your headphones), I would recommend going wireless or paying the $10 for a two-year guarantee to save yourself from paying for multiple replacement pairs. Overall, a good buy if you have $40 to spend on a pair of headphones

Easily the best headphones under $50
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very pleasantly surprised. After spending a considerable amount of time reviewing and testing over-the-ear headphones, I elected to try the EH150s. The sealed ear cups significantly reduce noise. I'd had them on while my fiancee was watching the Grammy's through our Infinity tower speakers, and I could barely hear a thing. The bass is powerful and overshadows Sony's Extra Bass headphones which list for USD$10 more. I'd really liked the Bose 'Around-Ear-Headphones', but at 3x the price, the Sennheiser EH150 are a much better investment, especially if you're looking for headphones in the $50 price range. Great headphones for the money, very excited to take them to work and drown out the office. I think I'll pick up an extra pair for the better half. Terrific work, Sennheiser.

Very Nice, BUT.....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are good sounding, light weight, comfortable phones, but the cord sure leaves a lot to be desired! It's too small in diameter, almost like string, and feels flimsy. It's also way too long, easily getting tangled around things, like my feet! I know smaller wire is cheaper, but I'd gladly trade half of the excessive length for larger wire. I don't really care about the way the wires from each earpiece meet under your chin, but that's not a deal breaker for me.

Works great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use these stereo headphones when I want to block out all the noise around me. I think they work great for that and they also give good sound quality.

Pretty darn good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got these about 2 years ago from Best Buy. Use them daily for walks, jogging, and everyday general use. Good long cord, decent bass, and comfy. I primarily use them with my old 2gb nano ipod and they match up together very well. For the money, a very good value. The sad part is that after over 2 years of daily use, the left side went out. Took apart and could not find anything loose. Oh well, I did get my $ worth. Will most likely get another one from BBuy.

great head phones
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got these because they were on sale with my rewards zone membership. they sound great bass sounds great. The bass will distort at REALLY high volume. they're not noise canceling but they cancel out outside noise pretty good. Great deal for $29!!! I had some sony's and the bass was no where as good as these, and these were less expensive. Pick up a pair if you don't mind the silver color!!!!

OK... but only for smaller heads
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality of these headphones and they did a good job of blocking out background noise (blocking out noise was one of the main reasons I chose this model - closed back design was key and I didn't want to spend the money needed for a really good set of noise cancelling headphones). My head is larger than average - as a reference, I have never found a fitted cap in any hat store that will fit my large noggin (huge brains is what I'm told). So for the average head or smaller they would probably be fine, but not for me. Had they fit the size of my head - I would have rated them much higher and likely would not have returned them. Really a design flaw in my opinion - they should allow a larger width adjustment and then I would have probably rated them a 4 or 5. Good luck, but don't waste your time if you have a larger head. My search for an affordable closed back headphone that fits a large melon continues...

- A:Answer Hello- I would use our sport adidas headphones for working out, as these were designed for home studio use and music listening at home. The Sennheiser/adidas models are sweat proof and will stay in, all while remaining light weight.
