Top comment"this game has renewed my love for my ps5. i was very enthralled with the jrpgs valkyrie profile 1 & 2. while this is different than those titles, it's still a worthy entry in this series, cool story and phenomenal looks. elysium's gameplay is linear progression hack n' slash, requiring you to manually summon your ghost warrior followers to help you fight monsters. the visuals are pretty and really drive home the whole romantic nordic knight/crusader vibe that captured my heart with valkyrie profile 1 & 2. i thought i'd made a mistake starting on normal mode bc i made quick work of the tutorial and fist two levels, but don't worry; you soon get a nice, fast-paced action-packed challenge to keep you entertained for hours. overall, the gameplay is familiar and inviting (beat monsters, acquire party members, level up stats and weapons); but not so much that it feels like a re-hash of a bunch of other games you may have played before. really recommend you get this game, i think you'll have a blast! ...3 out of 5"
