A: First thing I would say is that this dishwasher is very quiet. You can barely hear it running. So far we have only used the Normal cycle with the heated dry. The best I can tell the Normal Wash cycle takes about two hours and the Heated Dry possibly 30-60 minutes. I'm not sure on the length of drying time as I haven't caught it precisely yet. We are very pleased with the operation of this dishwasher and I love how quiet it is. Our old one sounded like a M60-A1 Army tank going through the neighborhood.
A: Hello Eric, Yes the upper rack on this unit can be removed. This unit also has a separate basket for silverware. We hope this helps.
Q: Does the delivery/install package include disconnecting and removal of the old dishwasher?
A: No. You must disconnect and remove the old dishwasher out of the space where the new dishwasher will be installed. There is an extra "disposal haul away" fee for your dishwasher (saves a trip to the dumps if your old dishwasher is beyond repair).
A: It vents out of the left side of the handgrip recess.
Q: There is a lot of water in this dishwasher when it I finished . Is that normal?

Q: Is this a glossy or matte black finish? Also...How long is the express cycle?
A: Hi BettyBoopaka! The finish can be described as a "satin" type finish. It's not a high gloss and it isn't a flat finish. Also, the time on the express cycle will vary depending on load size and dirt.
