Well worth it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I wish companies made the cables like a foot or two longer but i get it lots of electricity going through that cord so probably cant be any longer but worth the money to have new stuff installed with the new washer and dryer.

Easy hookup for a quick installation
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Our new LG Washtower was delivered/installed yesterday. The new power cords made the electrical hookup quicker. The old Kenmore/WP machine did not have a 120v connection so the kit was a must for a local hookup by code.

Great for small apartment or Condos!

They are stylish and perfect for small apartments or condo laundry rooms where space is tight. You do have to purchase separate cords, new washer hoses, and if you are tight on space, be advised they will not install your dryer unless you use their rigid steel dryer vent tubing which takes up a significant amount of space. I would not hesitate to recommend these Samsung units to anyone. They are great so far and super quiet. Do not recommend using Best Buy Installation services.

- A:Answer They don't come with cords because the socket type depends on what year the building/house was built. That determines if it's 3 or 4 prong, regardless of the type of appliance. :) (I use to work for best buy in the appliance department!)

- A:Answer The key difference between a three prong outlet and a four prong outlet is that a three prong outlet has only two hot wires and a neutral one. It has no separate ground wire. Therefore the dryers neutral was tied to the ground connection on the metal case of the dryer

- A:Answer The problem is if the dryer has a problem under warranty and when showing sales slip it doesn’t reflect a new cable they might give you a hard time.
