Q: QuestionI had a waterpik for many years and found that the interior of the hand held part was interior coated with black fungi and so was the narrow tips which were impossible to clean. How can one clean this out before it starts to grow?
Asked by Rinky.
This question was asked about the related product: Waterpik - Ultra Water Flosser - White
- A:Answer Preventative maintenance is best. Place a SMALL wad of tissue paper - and I really mean SMALL into the larger end of your removable piece. Straighten out a paper clip - a ;arge clip, that when straightened is longer than the removable tip, and force the wad thru the tip, taking all the gunk with it. May have to do that 2 or 3 times to make the tip clean agsin.
