Whirlpool - 27" Built-In Double Electric Convection Wall Oven - White

I love the oven, but I had to pay an additional installation charge that I was not expecting. This is a built-in oven and the customer needs to know up front what the installation charge will be instead of it being a surprise on delivery day. There was a pre-measuring that did not seem to make a difference. I pre-measured to eliminate installation day surprises. There should be a average flat fee charged up front for installation of wall oven and at least it would have already been taken care of.

Good value but the installment was awful. I ended up having to get someone to install. I would recommend Best Buy change it’s business practice for installation of appliances. The Winston Salem office was understanding and was good to work with.

Reviewed several brands and chose Whirlpool because it had the best price with options. I love this double oven and the upper convection bonus with the intuitive user friendly option selections. No need to read the manual! The convection oven fan is not even noticeable. I opened the oven a couple of times, just to make sure I was really running in convection mode. My scallops and asparagus were divine!

Good quality long lasting beautiful visual appealing product

I bought this oven at the beginning of May and it came in ready for pick up on July 5th. I knew it was going to take that long because it was a 27 inch instead of a 30 inch. It did not fit back in the hole I had for my previous oven which was a GE. We had to cut out a half an inch from the cabinet. The oven works fine.

We needed to replace a 29 year old Kitchen Aid double oven. I went into Best Buy with the installation instructions for my old oven that had dimensions. The salesman told me he did not need to send out someone to measure my space opening because Whirlpool owned Kitchen Aid and the 27 inch ovens should take the same space. When they came to deliver, it was immediately apparent to me that the new double oven would not fit in the space left by the old oven. There was approximately a 1/2" difference. So I had to send the oven back and call Giorgi Kitchens who had originally built my kitchen when I built the house. They came out and measured and had to make changes in the cabinetry to accommodate the new oven. I cancelled my order with Best Buy and bought the oven from Giorgi because they had to deal with the installation and the electrical. Giorgi also had to downsize the circuit braker for the oven because of changes in code and new oven electronics. Best Buy never mentioned this and no electrician came with the delivery people. The oven is now installed and working. There is one aspect of this oven which I find highly aggravating. When you are finished broiling or baking, the oven internal fan keeps blowing to cool down the unit to make it last longer. It makes an aggravating noise for at least 40 minutes. I was told that all new electric ovens have this after use noise now. You should be aware of it. It was never mentioned by the sales person who knew we were replacing a 29 year old oven. Other than that the oven performs well.

Overall I am happy with the products evenness when cooking. However the lower oven errors out when put into self cleaning mode. I am calling in a service appointment.

This has the same functionality as the Bosch wall ovens but a much lower cost
