I bought this, looking for a heart rate monitor that didn't require a strap to the chest. I also wanted a stop watch. This has those functions and a lot more, but with 4 buttons, you'll have to remember some button combinations to get to the many features. Negatively, this sometimes does not register your fingers, looking to activate the heart rate monitor. Usually towards the end of a sweaty workout. Additionally, it'll activate the heart rate monitor on it's own and beep at you for doing it wrong. This means the device is busy doing something you don't want it to, so the stop watch time is not to be seen. That's not always the case, but it's an annoyance. Price matched with Amazon for a good deal.

I've had this watch for about month and so far it has worked as advertised. The battery life is great and it is very accurate. I even let my brother use it to see if it works for him and he almost didn't give it back to me. It will tell you how many calories you burnt in a day and motivates you to do more the following day. It's also a very stylish and accurate watch.

It's not sleek, and only women who are data geeks will like it. But if you exercise in twilight, or have less than stellar vision, the big face is very functional. The band is sturdy, and watch seems to handle rough work like gardening, bathing dog, etc.

I'm pretty happy with this watch right now, but it took a lot of fiddling to set up (and I'm a fairly tech-savvy/tech-friendly guy). Once I figured out how to set my target heart range, though, I haven't had to mess with the settings, and I get good heart rates while runnning. Just touch the case on the top while wearing the watch, and a couple seconds later you get a readout. One caveat I found is that you have to just *touch* the case--if you press too hard, it can't read your pulse. Once I figured that out, I've been fine.

I thought this product gave your HR continuously but it doesn't. You have to stop and place your finger on the metal part of the face
