The phone was OK for about a year. Then for some reason the calibration was off. When you would hit the phone icon, you would get text messaging. That problem isn't bad if you can recalibrate. But there is no mechanical way to reset this phone. You have to use the touch screen and since it does not let you select the right key, you are SOL. I took it to the ATT shop to see what they could do, they said-Nothing. So just be aware, you can get the phone but it will stop working after the warranty period is over. I'm going back to the $20 throw-away phones. This LG Prime phone is not a good phone. You have been warned. :-(- Age : 55-64

This phone is great for the first year, it has been a year and a couple days since I purchased this phone on June 25, 2011 from another electronic store not Best Buy. The phone now has the touch screen all messed up, I go to select one thing it picks another, went to the store I got it and they are like there is nothing we can do and AT&T said the same thing which I understand for AT&T because I did not purchase the phone there. Today I called LG and they were like there is nothing we can really do since it's been a year except you can send it in and see if LG can fix it, and with it being over a year (barely) they could charge you and it could be anywhere from $40-$100 and the person I spoke to agreed with me to just go ahead a purchase another phone. Bottom Line DON'T BUY THIS PHONE!!!4 out of 9 found this review helpful.

Back in 2010 I had bought me a brand new Pantech, that phone lasted 6 months and so I couldn't get a new one directly from at&t due to my contract. I went to wal-mart after Christmas to purchase a new one. I bought this phone because I wanted a touch screen and the price was great. I had loved it up until the touch screen was becoming 'off', I could press the m and it put b or whatever. This had only been about a month. I changed the sensitivity thinking it would help it did for awhile and the phone started acting up again. I had it about 2 months and the touch screen quit completely. It was very upsetting because I had to switch back to a very old outdated phone and I basically threw away $100. Save your money, I've learned my lesson. It's very hard for me to buy another LG due to the fact this one let me down.4 out of 4 found this review helpful.

Fantastic Phone!5

I have had my phone for over a year now. It had been through a lot from being dropped in the toilet to failing down flights of stairs. It has some scratches and thats it from all that. Since it was dropped in the toilet it freezes if it gets to low of a battery but you plug it in and it will work perfectly again like nothing was wrong. Texting is easy and the calling is great! I think i ended up with a super phone because if any other expensive phone now a days had been through what it had been through it would have broken the first week. Oh and the battery life is pretty great too!!8 out of 10 found this review helpful.

It was very annoying to use in first place and that is BEFORE the touch screen went out completely. Not worth even the $70 I paid for it. Do not buy this phone.11 out of 14 found this review helpful.

The touch screen goes out ALL the time. Be it just the right side, the bottom, or the entire thing. The touch screen will eventually stop working. I've seen people get it exchange 4 times and it's always the same issue. Always.9 out of 9 found this review helpful.

Up Until 1 Day Ago..5 Stars2

As I was preparing to write a review, I got distracted. I was ready to give this phone 5 stars. We got it to replace my daughter's phone that broke since we cannot upgrade her phone due to our contract.
Exactly 32 days after we purchased this phone, it started to not work right. The first day, I noticed every time I tried calling, it would go straight to voicemail. When I got to where I could check her phone, I noticed it didn't even show I had tried to call. I turned it off and back on, and she ended up having 11 text messages from that day all the way back to a couple days before. It still didn't show any missed calls.
The following day, my daughter tried calling me, but I couldn't ever hear her. She finally called me using speakerphone and said she could hear me, but I couldn't hear her. The phone works fine on speakerphone.
By the time I got to where I could look at her phone, the tones would only sporadically work.
THANK GOODNESS I purchased the 1 year replacement plan.
It has been a great phone, and my daughter has LOVED it.....up until it decided to not work.13 out of 16 found this review helpful.

The touch screen is very *not* sensitive.. you have to press and hold for anything - scrolling is almost impossible. Cannot get e-mail easily. But it can make calls. It is NOT a smart phone.6 out of 9 found this review helpful.
