SynopsisThis is the moment you and your monster have been working toward for weeks. You've provided proper care, plenty of rest and training. Now it's time to test your breeding skills and see if you've created a monster that can defeat another monster in battle. You've wanted to put that rival breeder in his place since the day you generated your own beast. Will you prove yourself a successful breeder or will you have to go back to the drawing board and create an even more lethal fighting machine?In Monster Rancher DS, you become a monster breeder by generating your own unique monster. This can be done by drawing a picture in the Magic Field or by speaking into the microphone in Incantation mode. As you advance through the game, you can combine your monsters to create super monsters and also unlock a secret way of generating monsters. When your creations are properly trained and rested, head into a battleground to prove your skills. Select short-, medium- and long-range attack techniques and various strategies to make each battle unique. You can stay out of your opponent's range, trick the rival monster into falling back and trapping itself or employ a variety of other brilliant plans to win the battle. With the right monster by your side, you'll be able to rise through the ranks of the battleground tournaments and finally be declared a Master Breeder.
