I'm a NFS fan. Have them all since the first one. Every one of them I like, but my favorite one is "Need for speed 4(High stakes)". Reson is because I like the street racing better and the idea of getting away from cops or chasing some one driving a Ferrari or better yet a McLaren. NFS went through a lot of downs after NFS Hot pursuit 2 and don't get me wrong I like the free roam of Undergroung2 and designing the body kit and vynils. This game is very good, so far I only have it on my XBox 360 and I just bought my PS3 and still waiting for my XBR Sony 46 inch, it's coming tomorrow. My suggestion is TAKE THIS GOOD GAME and make NFS High Stakes 2

I just picked up the game at a great price of 39.99 five days ago.The gaming is very intense and it gets my adrenaline pumping which is good. I'm gonna say that there are minor flaws but overall all this is a great racing game! The graphics are pretty good but not astounding to me especially after watching previews on tv before purchasing this game. The driver simulation is pretty real and i'm content with the feeling. The line up of the cars in the game is a good mix, it has all the cars i like. The sound is incredible but i think the exhaust notes aren't accurate to each car, though it ressembles the car. Would I recommend this game.. of course!!

Have to start saying that I never played any NFS before. This is my first one and I enjoyed it a lot. Graphics are amazing, sound is so realistic and gameplay is awesome for me. Controls are a kind of hard but just get accustom to the joystick. My personal opinion is that this is a good game and deserves a 5 for me. Have in mind that I am not the biggest fan of race games, this is my second one so far beyond Gran Turismo 5.

I bought this game when it went on sale cause it was a great deal! I loved the graphics and the cars. although if you play it just to have fun instead of actually trying to race it is extremely hard if your in the cockpit... its to easy on the chase cam. So buy this game if you like the precise style racing not like Midnight club were you just zoom around and hopefully you dont wreck. This game is very good especially since it is Need For Speed's first precision style racing unlike gran turismo who has done it for years!... please go back to Underground street racing and make a killer "Underground 3"

Need for Speed last releases, lets be honest sucked. This release of NFS brought things back into perspective. It has to be argumentatively one of the best from the francise. The GRAPHICS, GAMEPLAY, THE HANDLE, and overall just fun to play. It really puts you in the driver's seat.

I really really like this game. Definitly in my top 2 of best games for PS3 and i will tell you why. First, driving in the cockpit of the car with a Logitech GT Force feedback steering wheel with the gas pedals is so unreal, you really feel like your in the car racing, I can feel my heart rate go up as soon as the start light starts changing. The sound is incredible as are the graphics. Saturdays and Sundays I turn the volume way up with the 7.1 surround sound and its just rediculous how good it sounds it really adds so much to the intensity. Graphics are surreal and i feel they did a masterful job with everything except for the pointlees helicopter that flies in a circle after races(jeez i know i gotta find something to complain about). But seriously the edges are very smooth and the tires actually look like they are on the asphalt. I can go on all day so ill skip to the bottom line. BOTTOM LINE: This is by far one of the best games so far for the ps3(top 3 easily), Intensity is greatly increased with the Logitech GT Force Steering Wheel and Pedals, seemless internet play(when i say seemless i mean flawless and my connection is bad most of the time), great graphics, loads of fun and I highly highly highly reccommend this game. Its one of those game you can spend $400 dollars on between the steering wheel $150, the game $60, and the steering wheel stand $150(all this if you really want to immerse).

Fun game with difficulty settings that allow almost anyone to play. Being my first game for my new PS3 I was impressed with the games ability to start me off easier and allow me to change difficulty when I wanted to instead of having to reach a certian level. You have so many options to choose from I forsee that I will get many hours of gaming out of my investment. Graphics and sound are great in HD, hooked up to 5.1 surround you can hear your opponents behind you to the right or left it's pretty intense!

First of all, I'm a huge Gran Turismo fan so I loved this game. It's extremely fun, challenging, has a great selection of cars, and is very realistic. I've only played two other NFS's. Some people who loved driving around aimlessly looking for a race and running from the cops, didn't like this one. For those of you like me, who played Gran Turismo for years, will love this game. I highly recommend it!
