I bought this game so my youngest son could be like his older brother and be able to play on Xbox.

We got this for my daughter (4yrs) for Christmas and she loves it. She loves interacting with the characters. Read the instructions before using it. You WILL need to calibrate the sensor to see your kids (pg 2). I manually adjusted the kinect sensor to focus downwards. It is also a good idea to put a piece of tape down so your kids don’t get to close to the tv (pg 4). The only issue I have with it is sometimes when my daughter is trying to mimic a movement it doesn’t notice. It’s partially her fault because she won’t move her arms enough or moves to fast but sometimes she just simply doesn’t understand what to do like some of the dance moves. I move the furniture out of the way, put a little chair down for her to take breaks in between chapters, and she could play for hours.

We purchased this as a Christmas present for our 4 year old son. We have only played it once or twice but it has been a lot of fun. The problem is that the kinect sensor does not pick up small children well. We are trying to fix this issue so my son can play on his own. Other than the problems with the kinect I recommend this game for anyone with children 4-9 years of age - it is very easy & there is lots of movement.

Bought this game recently for our nearly two year old son (it was a great deal, figured get it now and save it for when he can use it). I of course had to take a crack at it before then. It's an adorable game for kids, I even enjoyed playing while my son watches- his face lights up to see the characters he knows playing with us. I wanted to leave a review because I see another person left a very bad review for this game, and the reason they left it is just not the case. Yes, there is DLC you can add for 5 dollars to add another set of games, but there is quite a bit more than just catching streamers. I can't trouble shoot what problem they were having but the game goes quite a bit further than that streamers game (which I believe is the 3rd or 4th game in only). Check out the reviews on metacritic.com- this game did very well for a children's game. It's easy enough for a toddler to follow along with but has enough story for a young child to be interested in.

I bought this game for my 2 year old daughter. She is tech savvy so this game is right up her alley. She is able to interact with the characters in this game and has a blast. I like that I can play with her. A very good game for kids and families.

We bought the game for my two daughters, ages 6 and 3. The love the characters and are generally able to play without much help. It is designed for kids and they seem to enjoy it.

from startup to a point where a child actually gets to interact takes forever!! The objectives through the storybook (the story) are not very clear. It shows what you have earned for different sections of the game. When you select some, thinking you can go work on those objectives, you end up watch credits or commentary.
There are a few fun activities inthoughout the game. Overall, there isn't enough going on to hold a 6 year old's interest. Also, some of the operations are difficult with the kinect. My daughter became frustrated often because she couldn't select the story like she needed too. Then the game is over for her at that point. My daughter is pretty good at stuff and patient. But, the game was a dissappointment for the money. It was dissappointing as a parent, watching your child struggle and not enjoy... a game!! She has had more fun and success with Kinect adventures, Sports, and Kinectimals, with Bears.....
