Seems good, no problems yet. VERY loud compared to other xbox 360's I've heard, not sure if that is a good or bad thing.

Great buy, but not an Arcade (Jasper) System

This system was still a great buy for the money ($100 sales price plus sales tax), which is why I did not return it when I found out that it wasn't exactly as advertised once in hand... this is not a 'Black Arcade' system and does not have 256MB of onboard memory.... if it were, this system would have the newer, and much-preferred, 'Jasper' chipset, and a 150-watt power supply. This is an older 'Elite' system, which has the older (and less stable) 'Falcon' chipset, 16MB of on-board memory and a 175-watt power supply. Regardless, the system remains an excellent value, otherwise a quality refurbished (and packaged) unit as described, well worth the low price, and still worthy of 5 stars if only it were correctly listed for sale.

Dead after 3 hrs

There were a couple of small issues that I was willing to overlook. The door was missing on the front were the USB (controller) plugs in. The cooling fan was VERY loud compared to my other XBOX 360. Another small annoyance was that the label for the power supply had been removed.
The BIG problem was the 3 rings of death after 3 hrs of use.

To begin with, the item looked great...that is until we went to plug in the power brick and realized that it was damaged. The part that plugs into the Xbox itself was completely damaged and wouldn't even connect into the unit. It didn't look like something that happened in transit, it looked as though the end of the cord had been smashed or something. So, $40...and a used power brick later...we were able to plug power into the unit. YAY!!!! The child was thrilled! We were thrilled...Christmas Day was turning out to be great! The child played for 10 minutes! The unit started making a HORRENDOUS noise. The unit stopped playing. Thankfully Best Buy came through and allowed us to return the unit & exchange it for something brand new. I had to spend a lot more money to get the new item, but we are pleased with the ease of returning the damaged/non-working unit & cords. I find it hard to believe that, per the insert that accompanied the refurb, the company that refurbished it tested it and had it running to the same condition as if it was a new item, never used before. That's what the insert claimed. I will never buy a refurbished item again.

Loud and Mean

It works fine, and I have no probelm with it other than a few things. 1. It only comes with Hi-def cords. And 2. it's about as loud as a lawn mower.
So its fine in a large room but I tried to use it in a bedroom and it sounded like I was running a generator in my closet.

Good Bargain XBOX360

So far we are very happy with our purchase. The price was within our budget and the xbox works great. The only drawback is that I didn't realize that I needed either a hard drive or a memory card to save game progress, so Christmas wasn't the greatest because we had to keep restarting games from the beginning.

$100 Xbox days before Christmas..WoW. Proud of myself for this purchase! Works like a charm. Added a hard drive and now have myself one excellent XBox 360 for less than $150.
Shipment arrived 4 days after ordering and in time for Christmas.

I bought this Xbox 360 to replace my orginal one that finally got the RROD. I've had it about a month now and haven't had any problems with it. Product shipped exactly as described and I was happy to also be getting another controller. Setup was easy, hooked up my old 120 GB hard drive, connected to my network and was gaming within 20 minutes of receiving the package. I was initially hesitant to buy a refurb; but as long as it keeps performing as it should, I would say this is a great buy.
