Q: is there different kind of pods for the machine depending on which machine you get?
A: Yes. There are many different coffee pod options available for the Nespresso VertuoPlus Nespresso machine. However, you HAVE to use the correct pods in the correct machine - the pods from one machine to another are not interchangeable. I purchased a stainless steel reusable coffee pod for my machine so that I could use my favorite type of coffee in my own machine at home which was more economical and which permitted me to interchange my favorite coffees.
Q: Does this item come with free/complimentary pods?

Q: Are special pods required for this? If so are they available at regular groceries?
A: Yes it takes special pods you can order from nepresso, they also have on Amazon
Q: Does this take up much counter space?
A: Less than my cuisinart self grining coffee maker did. I would say just slightly less than the average coffee maker.
Q: With the water tank it is too wide for my space. Can that be removed when not in use?
A: Yes, the water reservoir can be removed when the machine is not in use.
Q: Does this Nespresso coffee cappuccino maker have a part that foams the milk?
