A: Yes, in that you gently tap your thumb up and down on the handle end instead of just holding it down. It's very easy to do, and works very well. Hope this helps.

A: Who knows. It should come apart easily according to info on line but I can’t get my lid to separate!

Q: How well does this machine puree?
A: I had been asking same question for almost every small grinder and have tried nutribullet, and a couple of other lesser known brands. This one is the best so far in making purée.
Q: Can you use it on raw chicken breast?

Q: How many cups does this food processor hold?
A: You probably don't want to fill it to the top, especially with hard/dense items, because it is not an" industrial strength" machine. That's not a negative, that's just the purpose it was designed to serve. However - for example- it easily can do 2 cups of zucchini squash cut into 1 inch cubes with no trouble. We've done onions, garlic, etc. with no trouble. I believe the real key is to cut your items into smaller cubes.
