Q: Will this filter out mold and mildew
A: That was my main concern and really why i purchased this. Yes it does.
Q: Are the filters washable for reuse?
A: The pre-filter should be cleaned every 2-4 weeks to increase efficiency and extend the life of your filter. You can use a soft brush or vacuum hose to remove hair, dust, and large particles. You can also use water to remove dirt and dust from the pre-filter only. However, the entire filter needs to be changed every 12-15 months.
Q: What is the sound level dB on this unit? Which filter does it require and what is the cost?
A: The EverestAir has a noise range of 24–52dB and requires a model EverestAir-RF replacement filter.
Q: Can this be mounted on a wall?
A: No, we do not recommend mounting the EverestAir on a wall.
A: Levoit offers several filter options for all their purifiers. While there isn’t one specifically for Mold they have one that removes toxins and other VOC’s. I would say either get that one or the pet allergy one. The original will work just fine too, probably don’t need the smoke remover filter unless you live somewhere near frequent wild fires.
Q: Can the wifi be disabled if you want?
A: While you cannot disable the WiFi option, pairing mode will stop if the unit is not connected to the app.

Q: Does this unit control heavy cat litter Oder and how much to replace filters
A: Not sure but it got rid of the urine smell that my dog made from my carpets.
