Insignia™ - 2.0 Bluetooth Computer Speakers with RGB Lighting (2-Piece) - Black

If you’re looking for a decent set of speakers that do the job for basic functions that are USB powered, the Insignia LED Computer Speakers NS-CSB2B6 do the job. They are packaged well and arrived safely. Everything you need is in the box so no need to buy anything else. You can plug in via the 3.5mm mini cable or the included Female USB-C to male USB adapter. Whether you have an older computer or newer computer, these speakers should work. In terms of audio quality, they are more than functional. I first tested basic speech and dialogue using a YouTube video with clear dialogue. Speech was clear and concise and even at moderate volumes, the speakers held up fine. Voices were accurate and easy to hear using my laptop computer. Remember that you don’t have separate treble, mid, and bass controls, but for what these are, they work well. I then went and tested music through these speakers and was impressed, again, for what they are. Sound was good in all aspects. Mids and treble were clear and concise. Is there a lot of bass, not so much but I didn’t expect much from these. There is enough bass that you knows it’s there. The LED lights are pretty cool, especially in a dark room environment. Note you can turn the LED lights off, which is a great feature if you need. You can control the LEDs by the press of a button. These 2.0 speakers give good stereo separation. Pairing them with my iPhone and iPad was a breeze. It was paired with 10 seconds. Music sounded very good. I was pleased. Overall these are a great set of speakers. If your expectations are within reason, you will be very happy. I’d highly recommended them for any laptop, desktop, or phone that needs a way to give some good sound.

The Insignia LED Computer Speakers are great! Easy to set up and I enjoy the color changing border and speaker. I have it set to where it fades into changing colors, it’s just a little fun option to have. I replaced my really old computer speakers with these sleek little babies. They were really easy to install. The come with a 3.5mm and a USB-C plug and adapter – but it’s not a power adapter, if you are plugging these into your power strip you will need a Female USB-C power adapter or male USB power adapter. I just happen to have plenty of those around, so I plugged the power straight into my power strip where my old speakers were previously plugged in. The cords, power and 3.5mm are plenty long, no issues running these to their homes. Immediately I pushed the mode button to change it from Bluetooth to AUX. It’s easy to tell the mode differences – green is AUX while blue is Bluetooth. The sound quality is excellent! I use these for my conference calls, Teams meetings and notifications. They are such an upgrade from my old ones. I’m excited to have them and use them more. It’s a small price point for a great upgrade to my home office.

Unboxing: These showed up well-packed and protected, which I appreciated. Nothing was rattling around, nothing felt cheap, and everything was organized in a way that made setup super easy. The cables and instructions are right there, so you can get them plugged in and running in just a couple minutes. Design & Build: Honestly, they look way nicer than I expected for the price. The black finish fits in with pretty much any desk setup, and they feel solid - not too flimsy or lightweight. The controls are right on the front where they should be, and the cables are long enough to route cleanly without stretching anything. Connectivity: You get a few options here: USB-C for power, a standard headphone jack, and Bluetooth. The Bluetooth works really well - switching between my computer and phone is quick, and I haven’t had any weird connection drops. Nice to have both wired and wireless depending on what I’m doing. Sound Quality: This is where these speakers surprised me the most. For budget speakers, they sound genuinely good. Clear audio, decent bass without being muddy, and they stay clean even when you turn them up (not full blast though, because then it starts getting a bit distorted). I tested them with music, games, and videos, and they handled everything better than some pricier speakers I’ve owned. RGB Lighting: The RGB lighting is a fun bonus. You can go subtle or flashy depending on your mood, and the presets look good without being over-the-top. It adds a nice touch to the desk. Overall: If you want good-looking, good-sounding speakers without spending a ton, these are a great pick. Easy setup, solid build, multiple ways to connect, and surprisingly good sound. Definitely worth it for the price
