Q: does this model have an alarm silence button or switch? how long of a warranty does it come with?

Q: Can I lay this battery back up on its side??
A: I don't know that you can't, but it is not designed to work that way. It has ventilation on both sides. It would be awkward, at best. Mine didn't fit where I thought it would, on a shelf.
