Very good phone for the price.

This phone is very good, and includes 16 GB of storage, instead of the stated 8 GB, which is great. The size is very good and both the rear and front facing cameras take very good pictures. The call volume and sound is very strong when answering a call. The overall features are very good for this phone. The battery is the one down side to this phone.

The device specs are wrong

The phone has 16GB of internal memory, not 8GB. A pleasant surprise.
Best Buy should update the listing...

Best 6.0 Marshmallow device you can buy for 4 $100
Posted by: Bighouse33 from: on
I picked this up after seeing a unboxing video on Youtube...The phone had 16gb of internal storage unlike what BB has posted, Great screen (720p) and nice viewing angles. Super light weight & easy to carry. It does come with 6.0 marshmallow & the 1.5gigs of ram is easy for multitasking. It only has a 2100mAh battery which is my only negative about this device. The speaker volume is nice & loud like I like it to be. The 8mp cam takes decent shots also...Great buy for $99 but at $69 for what I paid...Awesome!!!!!!

Such an amazing phone for the price

I got the LG Phoenix 2 for my Bday June 8th. And I love it. It's also the same phone as the LG Escape 3 by Cricket Wireless. Same phone just different name. The call quality is really really good. I was using the Samsung Galaxy Sol phone by Cricket but that phone's wifi kept disconnecting on me at times and It was really annoying. This phone however has never done that to me. Like I said call quality is really good. Camera has a 8MP rear facing auto focus to it and only one resolution. Just 8MP. No 5MP or 2MP. Just 8MP which is weird but camera quality in my opinion is really good. Better than Galaxy Sol phone in my honest opinion. No 1080p capture though. Curved edges are very sleek. Processor may only be a Snapdragon 210 but I haven't had any issues with it. The phone does come with 16GB of internal memory. and it has between 8-9 GB of user storage. I did some research on my phone and looked at what it had. and on my pc it says 9GB but on the phone it has about 8.22GB, but hey most budget phones only have 2-4GB of user storage so 8-9Gb is pretty good. Although the phone only let's you install a 32GB sdcard. Nothing higher which sucks. But it works for me. Now If ANYONE really wants to see a full review of this phone I just put one up today June 14th-2016 on my YouTube channel: Reaper2065. Be sure to check it out and leave a comment or if you have any questions on it. Great phone. Deff worth buying:)

Really like this phone....

Screen is really nice, very slim design. 16gb storage, expandable storage. Camera decent. 6.0 marshmallow. I really like this phone. The only drawback is the battery. Kinda stinks. But its really a great phone for the money. Oh and the ear piece for phone calls very loud and nice. The speaker itself is decent I can hear the phone ring and texts come in. I had the zte zmax 2, it was ok but the volume was horrible. So I go this one instead. Works great with cricket. Pop your cricket Sim in before you power on. Im a fan.

Best deal for your money.

Physical characteristics are amazing. Not only do I have a good grip, its extremely lightweight, making a good fit for my hand. Moreover, its hd screen is amazing, and feels like the Samsung s7, even though it isn't.
As for the phone itself, it had a good deal of memory with 16gb. The apps open smoothly, with no issues. However, if your planning to use youtube on this phone, expect some videos to be 720p, while others are 480p. To solve this issue, I would suggest to check some third party application.
Other than that, the phone itself is solid as a whole. Buying this phone initially made me skeptic, considering how its a gophone, as well as a new release. However, within three hours of usage, the phone itself was worthy of the price given.

This is an amazing phone for the price range. I bought this for a friend just to use over wifi for apps and he's loved it so far. The 1.5GB ram helps out a lot.

Good Android back-up phone

My coveted Nexus 5 finally died after 4 years. LG was the manufacturer of that phone, but with the new Nexus coming in October, I needed a phone to get me to that point. The price was decent & since it's an LG, it wasn't a hard change from handsets. The phone is ok, other than the AT&T bloatware that comes with it. GPS is a little temperamental. Wi-FI also, but I was able to somehow delete the AT&T apps that seemed to be messing with those two things and the phone has been better.

I bought this phone at a great price. However once I started using it, I was blown away by the amazing features that confirmed that I got a great deal. This phone is newly equipped to the upgraded android 6.0 Marshmallow which allows the user to turn off app permissions. Being able to change app permissions, i.e. appopps is a great plus not to mention it made me feel more safe than any previous owned phone. Also, the sleek and stylish phone is easy to handle with the power and volume on the back. As a phone enthusiast, LG phoenix 2 was beyond impressive and exceeded my expectations to say the very least.

Great Phone at a Great Price

I was getting really tired of my Windows phone, especially since that replaced an HTC One (M7). I have had several Android phones and I love the user friendly interface. Windows was killing me! I like Windows on the computer...not for the phone!
The LG Phoenix 2 is great with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. And yes, as many have stated in the reviews, this is not an 8 GB phone...It is a 16 GB phone!! So, Bonus!! I think after all the system data, you end up with about 9 GB. Plus there is an SD slot to add more storage, up to 32 GB, if that isn't enough.
The camera takes good pictures, both front and rear, but it is still a cell phone camera so I don't expect to have DSLR quality!!
Several reviewers say this is a good backup phone, but I say it is good for a primary phone and that is what I use it as!!
