No Complaints!♡♡♡ Posted by: from: on I was an iPhone girl for years until I had the unfortunate experience of dating a psychopath who dared break two of them within the last year. (He is not around any more!) I've always been an AT&T customer on a family plan for as long as I can remember but after the last iPhone debacle I had to haul it to Metro PCS in a pinch and pick up a Galaxy Core Prime. Was not a fan of that phone. I used it until I was able to unlock it and return to my AT&T family plan; the core Prime became slower and slower and such a pain to use that last week, I had had enough. I went to Best Buy with a plan to pick up AT&T's almost identical, albeit pricier Galaxy J3 until Paul, my ever so helpful salesman sold me on the Galaxy Express Prime GoPhone instead. As a pre-existing customer I just pop in my AT&T SIM card, and my phone works as any postpaid phone would. The specs and details of the Express Prime and J3 are virtually the same, only the Express comes in black, the J3 in White. *Also if you do return this phone, there's no restocking fee for GoPhone! (Doubt many people need to worry about that tho!) ☆I love this phone... I recommend to anyone needing a great smartphone from a brand you can trust, without a $5-600+ budget. $129.99 for this phone and worth every penny. (It is a totally amazing user experience, worlds better than that Core Prime!) ...it just came out April of this year so the only bummer is the lack of cases and accessories to fit this model. Not a huge deal tho! ♡♡♡♡

Pleasantly Surprised! Posted by: from: on Having been an owner of flagship devices for the last 8+ years, I made a bad choice getting a One M8 for Windows (not getting upgraded anymore). This was my "interim" purchase to get me through my contract so I can get another phone next year. I have to admit that I have been pleasantly surprised with the Galaxy Express Prime since I got it a few days ago. It's done everything I've asked of it with very little or no lag whatsoever. A rare thing for a sub $200 phone. A few of the highlights. The screen is beautiful. Clearly Samsung put the cost of this phone into the right places. RAM is adequate for normal to moderate users as I imagine that heavy users will feel the lower end specs at some point. 16GB of onboard storage is good as usually all you get is 8GB. I also put in my 128GB microSD with no issues and moved the apps I could to it. Freeing up built in space oddly improved the phone performance overall. Battery life with Android 6 (Marshmallow) is amazing. I got two full days of moderate weekend use on a brand new "non-conditioned" battery right out of the package. Overall I would say if you're looking to replace a high end broken phone or just want something without a contract that isn't a plastic piece of junk, this is a really good phone to look at. I moved my post-paid AT&T SIM into this and it just fired up with no setup required. I'm very happy with the purchase and have no doubt that I'll get more than my money's worth out of this phone.

Great value for the price Posted by: from: on I thought that the read facing camera on this phone wouldn't result in good quality pictures but i was pleasantly surprised when I found out that I was wrong. The pictures that I have taken with this phone have looked just as good as ones from phones costing $400+. I have a few things that I would recommend. I would disable all the apps that you know you will never use. I would buy a screen protector because the phone is a fingerprint magnet. In closing, I would buy a case if you are the type of person to drop things.

Iphones are getting absurd Posted by: from: on My older IPhone broke, and I just couldn't get myself to pay $750 for something that would be obsolete in 90 days. Apple finally managed through hubris to price point me to try Android. Glad I did. Viruses are an issue, but unless you are candy crush app happy, for the average busi9ness home use this phone was 90% as good for a fraction of the price.

Good choice for no-contract phone (ATT) Posted by: from: on I helped a friend to pick this one out, and finally decided on the Samsung because I have a Galaxy S5 which I like. This is sort-of a cut-down version of the S5, with the same form factor, and screen size so close to the same that you can't tell the difference unless you hold the two side by side. Colors really pop on this one, every bit as good, to my eyes anyway, as the S5. The most noticeable difference in use is that the camera is only 5MP, and the battery life, while good, does not compare to the S5. But, it is, IMO, the best phone among the presently available "off-the-shelf" choices for no-contract, unless you want to pay thru the nose!

Very Nice Phone Posted by: from: on I recently sold my Note 4 to carry this smaller phone. It's not as awkward for my hands, but plenty big to read my email. I use an SD card in it, because of the 16GB capacity, but still haven't needed to use the SD card. Camera is good, build quality is good and I like everything about it. And it's Marshmallow!

Good Phone, lacks some features Posted by: from: on This phone does a great job for the price. The only real drawbacks as far as I am concerned is the lack of a notification led for missed calls and messages. If it has one I have not figured out how to enable it. Additionally you must completely login to lower or raise the ringer volume. If either one of these features were avalible I would have given it 5 stars.

A great phone for the price Posted by: from: on I bought this phone for my daughter. What surprised me is that the operative system is more updated than the on the phone that I use. Although is a budget phone and it does not has some advanced features, it can stand easily by the side of more expensive phones. Connects greatly to the internet, is fast and runs the apps really smooth. Battery life is great. I highly recommend this phone to people that will like a good smartphone, but do not have the budget to afford an expensive one.
