Don't listen to COD lovers Posted by: from: Loudon, VA on I own both games COD and BF3. Granted COD has a better story line compared to BF3, however nothing has changed on COD since the last one, it's the same engine, graphics and same people...lame. BF3 on the other hand has always been more superior. Let's talk about the audio...the audio (guns, explosions etc.) are exceptional! The best ones in any game, ever. They have live recordings from the actual guns and put that in the game, it's ridicules especially if u have 5.1 dolby surround. Multiplayer is amazing, it's not just run around look for the bad guys in small alley's and shoot, it's very tacticle. You have to work with your squad, you can fly jets, helicopters, drive tanks, jeeps and so on an so forth. Yes, the maps are bigger, yes, it will take more time to find the bad guys on certain maps, but it's a total different game then COD. I loved call of duty, i bought and played everyone of the, but to be honest, i'm a big disappointed with this one because it's basically the same thing. I've only played COD on multiplayer once until i ran back to BF3. get this game, you won't be disappointed!

Amazing Game!!! Posted by: from: on This is by far the best fps game to date...usually the people who don't like this game don't care about the realism aspect, they care more about kill streak bonuses and garbage like that. Or they find the game too busy because of all the vehicles that you can use...I find those to be some of the great characteristics of the game, along with destructible environments. I personally am done with the COD series...Battlefield nailed it. The only issue I have is the bug of playing with your friends on your squad when joining a game still has some issues.

Battlefield 3 > Modern Warfare 3 Posted by: from: Manchester, United Kingdom on If you're trying to decide whether to buy this or Modern Warfare, you should definitely choose this. The story: The plot line is decent, it'll keep you wanting to play. However, the missions are awesome. They make you feel as if you're actually in battle with realistic, challenging gameplay. I wasn't a huge fan of Bad Company 1 or 2, but this game is amazing to me. So, even if you didn't like Bad Company, there's a good chance you'll still like this. The graphics are incredible, some of the most detailed I've seen in games yet. From environments, weapons, explosions, and everything in between, this game looks stunning. The sound is also incredible, making it feel as if you're actually there. Explosions are loud and intimidating, bullets wiz by your head. All of it sounds amazing. And most importantly, the multiplayer: The multiplayer is the biggest highlight of the game. Well drawn out maps make battles immense and hectic. There's hundreds of things to unlock. Needless to say, you'll be playing for hours and hours on end.

Amazing FPS Posted by: from: Columbia, MO on FPS games are really the only games I play on my PS3, and this is by far the best game I've played to date. BF3 was my first in the Battlefeild series, and it by far exceeded all my expectations. Call of Duty was really my only comparison and I was blown away. As far as games go in general, BF3 is by far the better game. Now whether or not you enjoy the gameplay style of BF3 or CoD is your opinion. The first thing that stuck out to me was the shooting/aiming mechanics. The player must take into account the time for bullets to get to the target as well as gravity. It makes it much more fun for me, especially sniping, to have to take that into account rather than just point-and-shoot. This game is also much more team-oriented than other fps games I've played. The lack of killstreaks and such give no reward for stayling alive for extended periods of time so other players are more liekly to put their neck on the line to help the team with health and ammo drops, etc. Driving vehicles is also extremely fun, flying jets and helicopters is liek nothing I've ever done in a shooter. The system of classes and unlocks is also great in my opinion, which forces you, for example, to use the recon class to unlock more snipers, and use specific guns to unlock attachments for that gun. As far as visuals go, Battlefeild 3 is the best looking FPS ever made for console, hands down. The audio is brilliant. Guns sound very realistic. Overall, my favorite FPS I've ever owned.

So much better than MW3 Posted by: from: on Ok first of all you have to accept that battlefield is not COD and that it has a learning curve like android. You have to accept that fact that you cant just pick up the controller and be amazing at it. That aside campaign so good but a few problems including enemies will completely ignore your team and shoot at you. But it is very good its the first battlefeild campaign I actually wanted to replay. Multiplay where can I begin theres so many improvments from the beta and from bfbc2. The maps are bigger graphics are better and guns are even more realistic. If you have any questions just comment on this and ill do my best to answer tham

Best shooter!!! Posted by: from: Omaha, NE on Battlefield is a unique game like no other. You really feel like if you are in a real battlefield. The sound is excellent, and you can really notice the difference on each weapon, you can hear footsteps and voices. Not to mention your surroundings, like missing bullets from enemies far away hitting the walls, vehicles passing by as well as helicopter and airplanes. There are so many good new features on this game. The graphics are one of the best out there. There are some minor glitches here and there, especially when lying down in the floor, but many of them were fixed after a recent update. The one player campaign is amazing, but nothing new from other shooter games, but the multiplayer is simply the best. It is extremely addictive and challenging; all you want to do is unlock more and more weapons and attachments to make your soldier more powerful. It will take you months to get them all. The on line maps have something for everyone, from different vehicles in massive maps in “base” mode, to small run and shoot “death match.” The “rush” mode is one of the best, because it combine both, you get to use vehicles in a farely large area to plan your attract. One of the best features about this game is that it encourages you to play as a team and if you learn how to be a good team player…you will have tons of satisfying moments.

Best fps to date! Posted by: from: Minnesota on Won most awards for best fps game for this year. Beating out COD MW3. Graphics and game play is amazing. Will blow your mind. Machine guns, explosive, tanks, jets you name it. This game has. Destructible environment. No FPS game comes close. I also purchased MW3 and I was so disappointed. The only thing new about MW3 is the maps. Other than that. It's just MW2. Graphics is really bad for MW3. THIS GAME IS A MUST HAVE!!

Great game Posted by: from: Cortland, NY on I liked the campaign even though I found it difficult. Maybe im not so good. Multiplayer is real fun because you get a wide array of weapons and vehicles to use. I did find multiplayer more difficult because i was used to playing C.O.D. but once i got used to it i found it better than the MW series of C.O.D.

Angry Gamers Posted by: from: PS3 Console on Played them both and really wanted MW3 to outshine the BF3 game, but I found that MW3 is lacking. Good graphics, great audio, good MP gameplay. I know the singleplayer is weak, but really who buys these for the singleplayer -- Really!?! I would rate it a 3.5 to 4 and would rate the BF3 from a 4.5 to a 5. Due to the low ratings and angry FPS players I upped the score to offset some of the poor score provided by angry gamers . If you are an angry gamer you are going to find something in the game to compensate for poor gaming ability. Don't hate the game hate the player.

This is sooooo much better then Call of Duty Posted by: from: Chicago IL on Battlefield 3 is twice as good as the new modern warfare and better graphics and sound. GREAT campaign. AMAZING online as in HUGE maps compared to Call of Duty. Walls actually break!!! coming out with new co-op campaign levels. Also Vehicles (Helicopters, Tanks, Hummers, Air planes, BTRs etc) in multiplayer.
