Great low-budget camera for the serious filmmaker
Nice, compact camcorder for high-quality filming when you don't want to intimidate your subjects as you might with a much bigger camera and setup. The zoom works a whole lot better than I ever would have expected but it's the option to shoot in 24 fps which is the most exciting to me as my old DSLR could only shoot at a higher frame rate.

Easy to use with superior results in a matter of minutes. All the tabs and various settings only continue to enhance its productivity.

Excellent Camera Upgrade
Purchased this Canon Model for a weekly filming project to enhance the quality we had on some older Rebel units. Extremely pleased with the HD quality & especially the audio level quality. The dual SD card slots are a huge plus too. Excited to learn more features as we explore. Only "drawback" so far is the charging process. Works fine but was hoping for a separate charging unit. Currently battery has to be attached & connected to camera for charging.
