A: We live in Florida: it gets pretty humid, and we need to pressure-wash our driveway at least once a year, because moss and other plants grow quickly around here. Consequently, we have never left our screen out more than just one night (no need for air-plants growing on it); and we always make sure that the product is dry before storing it. But: with two people, we easily have this guy folded up and stowed in less than 10 minutes - even after a longer movie night with a few drinks. :) So, just like, after a party, we just seal away that half-eaten bowl of chips so that it does not get stale, we usually put away our screen, too - along with the projector. Really easy; not too bad of a chore.
A: Are you possibly putting them on backwards?
A: The legs are quite sturdy and are an A to provide add'l support to the back of the uprights. It could still blow over in a decent breeze as the screen makes pretty big sail. We have had no trouble with it in a light breeze. I've attached a picture which I think will tell the tale.
Q: What is the maximum height from the ground that it can be set at.
A: The height can not be set.....meaning it is not adjustable. The frame when fully set up and deployed has a set height of 87.5"
Q: Is this a rear projection screen?
A: Hello. We have both a front projection model and a rear projection model available. Depending on the size you are looking for the rear projection version has a R in the model name. For example, OMS120HR2 is for the rear projection material and the OMS120H2 is for front projection. Thank you for your business!
Q: How is this screen stored? Is it rolled? And if so, will the screen wrinkle or crack over time?
A: It’s folded up and stored on top of the frame in a carry case. It does have a few creases in it but I’m not sure it they’ll come out after being set up for a while. I set mine up just for a movie night and not for a long period of time. The screen fits really tight on the frame so it didn’t really affect the movie. Everything seems to be good quality and build to last.
Q: If left outside and gets wet from rain will screen be damaged from the water?
A: This screen is made of multiple layers of material. I would not recommend leaving it outside overnight. It would be very difficult to completely dry all the water. Take it down when you are done using it to keep the screen in best shape.
Q: How small does it fold up once disassembled? Can it fit in a car?
A: It folds up really nicely, and it comes in a nice carrying bag. Dimensions of the folded product: 38 inches long X 11 inches wide X 8 inches tall. So, yes, it will definitely fit into even a small car.
