Samsung - Galaxy Note 3 4G Cell Phone - White (AT&T)

This is a great phone. It was a difficult decision considering I've been with Apple for 7 but I don't regret it one bit. In my opinion there is no comparison. The Note 3 is superior to apple with voice recognition if you like to speak your emails and text like myself.

It is bigger than the average phone these days, but is plenty smaller than my pockets. Games, books, and web pages look so much better on this screen than they did on my old phone (which also seemed big at the time but now seems only medium sized.) It is also much more powerful than my old phone, making all the newer games run more smoothly and having enough built-in memory for all the apps I want. The battery lasts a long time. Even when I stress it by running the GPS, wifi, bluetooth, and the screen, it keeps going for hours. Nothing can replace a camera with optical zoom, but this camera is good for a cellphone.

Pros: It has a super fast 2.3ghz snapdragon 800 processor, there's virtually no lag at all. The camera is excellent with proper lighting, probably one of the best I've ever seen on a phone. The problem is that it still struggles in low light conditions. One really cool feature that not many people know about is that this phone is capable of recording video in 4k! This was the first phone ever released capable of doing so. However, you would need a t.v. or projector capable of displaying 4k resolution content in order for you to truly experience the difference from 1080p. As for the battery life, it is also excellent. I use to carry an extra battery with me at all times when I had the "note 1", it would barely get me through half the day. Now with the note 3, I'm able to almost get 2 days on a single charge. Speaking of charge, it also has usb 3.0 which means super fast charging and data transfer. Cons: One of my only complaints with this phone and all other samsung phones is that it still feels cheap. Samsung attempted to make this phone feel premium, but it still has a cheap plastic back cover with what samsung claims to be faux leather with a fake stitching. Conclusion: excellent phone overall and the even though the phone doesn't feel premium it will out power devices that do feel more premium. For me, it's a trade off worth making.

I have been an iPhone user for the last 6 years and made the switch to the Note 3. It offers more than the iPhone 6 plus for a fraction of the cost. More free apps, bigger screen, stylus, etc. Sick of getting less and paying more for the iPhone name.

I really am enjoying this phone. I wasn't certain because it is a bit large in comparison to my HTC One (which I loved). However, the thinness of the phone means that as a 6:4" guys I can put this thing in most of my pockets without trouble. If the HTC One Max had included some sort of a digitizer I probably would have stuck with them (design is awesome...not sure about their cameras...'nother story) So I got this phone and sold my iPad. This phone is great to watch movies on the plane, jot down notes during quick or impromptu meetings with customers....even started using in full on meetings. Great size for reading my Kindle/Nook eBooks and the camera is awesome. The size...that is going to be the only thing that in my opinion would prevent SOME from not wanting this phone. However, I think even if your first reaction is "it's too big" you might find yourself changing your mind after a week or two of use.

I upgraded from my iPhone 5 to this phone and will not be looking back! I was a little concerned moving away from ios to Android but the transition was easy. The Note 3 is capable of so much more than the iPhone but be prepared to spend a little time learning the ropes. I love the large HD screen and the feel of it in my hand. A woman with small hand might find it to large.....look to the Galaxy 4 to satisfy smaller hands. I also love the stylus and it's integration into the applications. The plastic on the back of the phone is a plus as it gives you better grip on the handset. It also looks nice. The camera takes amazing pictures! For anybody (with medium to large hands) looking to upgrade there phone, look no further, this is a fantastic phone with all of the bells and whistles!!!

Thrilled with the Note 3. Wasn't sure the upgrade from a Note 1 to a Note 3 would be a noticeable improvement but glad I made the upgrade. The phone is quick and responsive. I wish the KitKat upgrade was the same as on the S5 which comes with KitKat. The battery life is amazing compared to my original Note 1. I had debated between the S5 for the better camera or the Note 3 for the stylus. So glad I went with the Note 3. The stylus makes so many things easier and better. Handwriting recognition is fabulous. I didn't think it worked so great on my Note 1 but I can't imagine going without it now. Absolutely thrilled. I text and email more than I use it as a phone. With mic earbuds or Bluetooth you don't feel awkward with its size as a phone.

i'm a huge tech junky and waited until it was closer to christmas for it to go on sale which it did. the quad core processor and larger screen with a 32gb memory with micro sd option for another 64gb are amazing options. the s pen has so many more things it can do when compared to the note 2 which makes it great for picture editing.
