Q: Are there different sizes for small breed dogs. example schnauzer

A: This collar comes in the following dimensions 2.4" x 1.6" x 1.5" (6.2 x 4.1 x 3.9 cm). You want to make sure the collar fits tightly and does not rotate or slide around the dogs neck. The dog most be able to swallow food and water normally and we recommend observing your dog to make sure it is not on too tightly. Thank you! ~QKO

Q: Does the unit vibrate before or during shocking in Autorise or Manual mode? With the Autorise setting, does the unit begin at the lowest setting for each barking occurrence?

A: It will vibrate before the stimulation. When a dog barks, it will be corrected by the device with stimulation. It will only send one correction within a four second window to give the dog a chance to respond. If the dog continues to bark, the collar will increase the intensity level of the stimulation reaching the highest level within 30 seconds. Should the dog refrain from barking, the device will slowly decrease the intensity level reaching the lowest level within 30 minutes. This ensures the dog is corrected at the right level. ~JH

A: My dog gets corrections on barking and yelping from being shocked. Kinda makes for confusion for the dog. I had to remove when it first started to break that cycle of yelping and shocks. The collar does not shock for growls or quiet barking.

Q: Can dogs wear it while swimming? Is it water resistant?

Q: Does it work with small dogs 10lb

A: While the collar itself can be adjusted for a smaller diameter neck, I personally feel that the prongs might be set too far apart for such a small neck and that perhaps it might seem a little heavy for your dog. So, I don't necessarily recommend this particular collar for a dog of that small size. I think it's a great collar, it features a vibrate only option and an auto-rising feature for the habitual, constant barker - or you can preset the intensity (settings 1-7). It does offer quick charging and it's really durable. We now have two of this model as it's been the most reliable of the others that we have had.

A: This collar can be set to vibrate only. The automatic mode vibrates first then corrections are administered if behavior continues.

Stop the Nuisance Barking
Skeptical when purchased but does what it says it will - tried vibrate initially but did not phase my barkers - ended up setting the level at 2 for large Am Bulldog and vibrate or 1 for smaller Chow/Shep mix - auto rise was traumatic to the smaller dog and I think my larger one cursed when we used it - seemed the auto rise didn't allow much of a learning curve so start with the levels and build up as needed - overall, after a couple of uses, just putting the collar on deters barking for both

Great product
One of my dogs is a nuisance barker when i'm not home so, rather than be evicted, I decided to give this collar a try. I previously tried a cheap one I bought off Amazon but it was unreliable and also gave too many warnings before a decent strength shock would come through. This collar is far superior! Being able to have complete control over the settings and shock level means I can set it to just the right level to prevent her from working herself into a barking frenzy when someone walks past the window. It has helped immensely and she rarely barks at all anymore. It is also reliable and doesn't activate if my other dog barks (which would sometimes happen with the cheap one) or if she makes other non-barking sounds. She now resorts to "grumbling" a lot instead of barking so she has obviously figured out the cause and effect relationship. I would definitely recommend this collar to anyone who shares their home with a nuisance barking dog. I guarantee your neighbors will appreciate it too!

Works, but get the size and fit right
What I like about this bark collar are that it is 1. Rechargeable, and 2. waterproof. That means a lot when you have an active dog. You have multiple setting options, so you don't have to feel like you are electroshocking your dog so bad. One thing is getting the collar to fit right. If you have a dog with longer hair or a scruffy neck, it can take some trial and error to make sure the contacts stay around the vocal cords, without either being too loose or too tight around the neck.
