A: 8 ounces or less I would say! It's very light! The material is the cloth like back backs, duffle bags, & some suitcases are made out of it! It also has a padding inside under the other material! It's made for a 15.6 inch screen computer! It has 11 pockets all together! All but 2 are Zippered in!
Q: Is there room for charging cords and mouse along with the laptop of course?
A: There’s room for your mouse, charging chords, external hard drive and a place for a mouse pad. I like it but I wish the shoulder strap had a pad.
