With thermoelectric cooling technology and a brushless motor, this Koolatron Voyager P27 cooler/warmer evenly circulates and distributes cool or warm air for reliable performance. The motion- and tilt-resistant design enables safe use in moving vehicles.
Q: How do you change it from hot to cold ?
A: Please refer to the owner's manual for the operating instructions and diagram. The cooler can be operated in the heating mode, by reversing the polarity of the power supplied to the cooler. This can easily be done by gently pulling out the power cord from the cord connector, reversing the bi-pin plug and pushing it back in. NOTE: When the arrow is aligned with the red dot the unit is in heat mode. When the arrow is aligned with the blue dot the unit is in cooling mode. Do not operate your cooler in the heating mode for longer than 45 minutes continuously. Excessive temperatures in the unit may cause bulging of the liner.
A: Yes it would drain out car battery. You can buy a Koolatron Battery saver if you wish to leave it plugged in the car
Q: Can the unit be filled with water
A: No, we do not recommend that you fill any 12 volt electronic cooler with water as it will damage the electronics.
Q: I have a converter that will put out 150 watts is this compatible with the koolatron cooler
A: undefined
Q: can this be used as a freezer? What is the coldest temperature?
A: cannot be used as freezer. Cools 22 degree C or 40 degree F below ambient
Q: Once the drinks are cooled and you turn off the power, how long will the drinks remain cold?
A: This is very dependent upon conditions. Koolatron coolers are extremely well insulated and will provide many hours of cool protection, even when switched off. Try to keep the cooler in the shade. Instead of leaving the cooler in a vehicle overnight, use an AC adapter which converts standard 110 Volt AC power to 12 volts DC, and plug the cooler into mains power when not driving.
Q: How much is power consumption? In watt hour?
A: This model pulls 48 watts.
