Lenmar - Lithium-Ion Battery for Canon PowerShot SD4500

The life after charge on this battery is a fraction of what other types get - not something I wanted to discover on a two week trip to Europe. I am very disappointed in this battery which makes the camera itself useless.

I am going back to the store to talk to the salesman about this. I couldn't purchase it at the retail store because they didn't have any so we ordered on line. So I will go back and tell them about the battery. thanks

The battery is small so they can keep the camera small, so it doesn't carry a great charge, but they are allot cheaper than the larger rechargeable batteries so there is a trade off here, I am not sure why people buy a small camera and then complain about the small battery charge, hey litheon batteries haven't come that far, buy a battery power car and you will see what I am talking about. Give them a few more years and hopefully they will work better. Hey remember the cad ion batteries, unfortunately I am old enough to remember them! I am not complaining and I probably won't be around to see the improvement in batteries. Have a good day!
