The price is right for lenovo's gaming solutions. It's a slick looking laptop and great power. Small size, doesn't heat up. Plays just about every game on ultra like a champ. So far that is swtor, sc2, league of legends, and planet side 2. Also the whole adobe suite for which I have bought it. Particularly after effects. It is a professional looking machine that is ultra portable and powerful enough for my purposes.
Only thing that could be better? i7 instead of i5 but you probably wouldn't notice that unless you are playing a cpu heavy game like swtor or using aftereffects.
Also, my windows updates section in PC settings app is broken. I'm an old fashioned menu man anyway and this can be rectified going through the control panel. Otherwise I have not had a single actual problem in the daily pet use of this machine. I'm not easy on these things. Even the screen is great. Not better than a desktop monitor but for a laptop non-4k screen? Pretty darn awesome.

We purchased this laptop thinking the Lenovo brand used quality hardware and would provide a good investment. We took very good care of this laptop, but after 4 months the left hinge broke off where it connects to the screen. We've found several posts on the Lenovo forums about this issue and called tech support hoping for a resolution. They had us send in the laptop and are now telling us this damage is outside what is covered under normal use. To repair this 4 month old laptop we are being told to pay $300! Save yourself the time and money and pick something else.

I am the owner, once again, of a broken 15.3” Lenovo Y50 multimedia touchscreen laptop. I am extremely disappointed in my purchase for this is now the second time my laptop has had serious and disastrous hardware malfunctions. On the first occasion, my laptop, which was purchased in August 2014, was experiencing randomized shutdowns and restarts due to a dysfunctional motherboard. I was forced to return this new laptop after owning it for only 10 days to BestBuy where I purchased it. They replaced the laptop with a brand new one. Only after 4 months of owning this new laptop, the laptop’s hardware malfunctioned again. This second time, December 5, the 1TB disk plus 8GB SSD hybrid hard drive failed, causing me to lose all my precious data, setting me back weeks in work. I am very disappointed in the product, and would like a full refund. DO NOT BUY
