A: Mine is just a few days old and it is frustrating that they will fall and all the dishes will knock into each other. So unless it was just changed or they changed it and it still happens then the answer is no they don't stay up well and it is a poor design.
Q: Does the steam feature really help
A: To answer your question about cleaning the dishes without pre wash. My husband never pre washes & all dishes have come out clean. I never pre clean that is what a good dishwasher is for. So far nothing has come out anything but clean. As for the plates falling over every dishwasher on the market does that cause they have shortened the tines to save money. I have had 2 other brands and they did the same thing.
Q: What is the noise level rating?
A: I don't know the rating but I can't hear it running.
A: Actually, it has 3 sets, including one on the top. Enjoy!
A: Can mount either way. Did mine on the side due to granite countertops.
