Designed for use with select DSLR cameras and camcorders, this MXL FR310 hot-shoe shotgun microphone features a supercardioid polar pattern and an integrated foam windscreen to help ensure crisp, focused acoustic capture.

- Supercardioid polar pattern: Along with a 10mm electret condenser targets sound in the front of your camera, effectively shutting out sound from the sides and back, to help ensure tight, clean audio recording.

- 3-position gain switch: With -5dB, 0dB and 5dB options lets you pull in the appropriate amount of sound in close-up or long-shot situations. A bass roll-off switch reduces low-frequency sound.
