With 5 isolated and filtered outlet banks and connectivity for cable boxes, LAN, telephones and DSL modems, this power conditioner ensures that your home theater system and other electronic components remain protected from voltage fluctuation.
A: The difference is a “Voltage Regulator”. The 5400 will adjust the voltage should it decrease. All other features are the same when comparing the 5300 and the 5400. Both of these units will provide superior picture quality should there be electrical interference. These units also have the same amount of power banks to plug your components which also eliminates interference from your components. My suggestion would be to save your money and purchase the 5300. Should you have issues with your electric levels I suggest having an electrician check your electrical system.
Q: Is this unit supposed to hum? Seems kind of excessive.
A: Not at all. It should be dead silent. Humming is what the unit prevents.
Q: Are all the outlets on all the time?
A: my understanding is that they have power all the time. they are labeled on the back so their is no confusion as to which components should plug into which outlets.
Q: Can I connect 2 power subwoofers and a receiver on this panamax?
A: Check with Panamax/Geek Squad to ascertain which would be suitable outlets.
A: I placed a aragon 4004 on top of mine. I just made sure each device has it's own shelf. So if you want to place the amp directly on the panamax I'd say absolutely not.
A: undefined
Q: Is this unit enough for Rotel RB 1590 with 700 watts, Marantz 8015 and a 1000 watts Subwoofer?
A: Im pushing a Marantz 8015 and B&W 700 Series (5.1)…no problems so far
Q: What it the throughput speed of the Ethernet Line-In plug - 10 MBPS, 100 MBPS, or 1000 MBPS?
A: I am pretty sure it is 10/100bt.
