My 2011 era MacBook Air would get very loud, and hot when bringing up even complex webpages, much less intensive programs. This one is so much quieter, faster, and cooler than my previous one with quite a bit of a battery boost.

My review is 10. Best laptop ever. The price is excellent. I take my laptop Everywhere I Go, I am a student and the laptop fit right in my bookbag with my other books.

I love the Macbook, its really good and fast and reliable and Best Buy was able to match the price, so really satisfied with the purchase. Love it. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family members in the future.

Just made the switch from PC to Mac, and I love it! The MacBook Air is so light and easy to use. Bought one for my dad too, and he is loving the MacBook Air too. I wish I had bought the 256GB, but I think I'll be ok for now.

We purchased this for our son starting college. He absolutely loves it. It pairs really well with his iPhone. It's light weight and fast. He has it perfectly set for his needs and raves about how much he enjoys using it.

I love my new macbook air! My previous mac was 12 years old and it was great, but it was time for a newer model. This one is much thinner and lighter. The display is sharp and I love the ease of using the apps. Great buy!

I use my MB Air '13 for general web surfing and email and it's perfect for that. I have a desktop W10 machine for more intensive school work. Battery last a long time and very light and convenient to carry around.

I bought this for my daughter on Black Friday to take college and she loves it. I didn't use the web root antivirus that comes with I think it's unnecessary macs don't get viruses that one of the reasons I bought it

Bought this computer for college and has been extremely reliable and easy to use. Highly recommend a MacBook for college students. Only complaint is since it's not Microsoft getting word, PowerPoint, etc. is a hassle

This computer is top of the line. Although it doesn't have a disc port I don't believe that has a negative effect overall. I would appreciate more memory but I knew when getting this product it would be around for years.

I have a 2012 Macbook Pro, which has more capacity, but this is much faster & lighter. I like them BOTH.

This is a great high school graduation gift! At the time I had bought it, I had a good deal along with the college student discount. This product is light weight and perfect for the incoming freshmen college student.

Apple MacBook Air is great laptop for school work, it has nice screen and has powerful i5 and 8gb memory that should be enough for most of the school related work.

Finally broke down and decided to spend a little more money to get a MacBook. Very thankful I did! Love the speed of the computer, it's usuability, keyboard, and track pad. Such a lightweight, good looking computer.
