Well worth the extra money to get. Makes it a 2 way remote so my wife knows her car is indeed started and working. Also increased the range to start her car. Well worth the little extra for the upgrade. She’s happy so I’m happy!

This remote works so well, and the best part is you still need your car keys to unlock and drive your car. We had it installed just after the first cold front came in December and it is "So" nice getting into a warm car.

Compustar system I bought came with 2 remotes and these were not needed.

Geek Squad installed on my 2015 Toyota Highlander with push button start. 2 way has great range. Only drawback is car shuts off when you open door. From what I read, this is due to the Toyotas smart key setup.

There's no better purchase if you're going to buy a remote start it's worth spending a little extra to get the two way remote no more wondering if my vehicle started the remote let's me know

Overall pretty happy with my remote start. I had the techs at Best Buy install the system and it seems to work fine. I didn't do a whole lot of price comparison ahead of time but it seems that Best Buy is at least a reputable company to back the product up.

I have had one way starters in past. They worked well, but really like the confirm with the 2 way remote. Compustar has been our go to product for years.
