This is a very nice computer, although I had problems with my internet connection on the second wireless signal I used. The signal kept dropping. I reset the router and the problem went away. There are some delays when I switch between using different parts of the touch pad (i.e. to highlight words and to click on links) but aside from that the computer works well. The touch screen is pretty fun!

Been with apple for 8 yrs but could not update browser and the ram is so small. This pic is really nice and now getting use to the differences between the two. I do find that the scrolling by touchpad is not as good so have to get use to the side scroll slide. But nice to have such a powerful computer for $400 less!

First yoga 710 had lots of issues with then the power unit went out 5 months after the one year warranty expired and Lenova said they would not look at it and give us an estimate to fix it. I purchased the 3 year extended warranty from Lenova this time. Good price point, like the touch screen and the size.

Light computer, elegant and responsive touch screen. Battery life is very good.

Out of the box , the highly touted speaker system did not work. Half an hour of trouble shooting later I got it working. Tablet mode is quirky . Not IPAD like! But it works. Videos are clear and bright. Machine is fast. Wish it had one more USB - maybe on the left side. Does not come with a DVD out converter.

This was for my sister who is in school. It works perfectly for her needs. The loudness of the fan was seemingly corrected with a firmware update I ran immediately after reading reviews complaining about it. No real complaints with the laptop. I'm an Apple user, but this was nice for a Windows laptop.

Got this computer for my wife because her last computer seems to be on its way out. This thing is awesome - light, sleek, and powerful. Runs without a hitch so far no matter what. Great onscreen keyboard as well for use in tablet mode. Considering buying another of the same model for myself in the near future. Also, haven't had any issues with the fan as others have stated.

Very loud fan with no fix from Lenovo as of yet. The laptop we ordered had a faulty battery. I would have swapped for an exact replacement if it wasn't for the loud fan. Great laptop otherwise - bright screen, fast, and well built.

My previous computer, an Hp from 2011 lasted me 6 years, and still works fine as long as it's plugged in. So I had high expectations buying an brand new laptop. The Lonovo Yoga 710 has a lot of great things going for it, the 2 in1 functionality is superb. The sleek design and featherlike weight is wonderful. The speed and processing (Intel i5) is what you would expect it to be. But this computer does have some issues. For one, it loves to reboot my router when I connect it to wifi. Apparently this is fixed by disabling Iv6 protocol, and it has been working for me so far. Another hiccup with this system as all the reviews mention is the right shift key. They moved it for whatever reason, and it is the biggest hassle for someone who prefers right shift or left shift. This issue is also resolvable by remapping the keyboard, but it was unfortunate that I had to do that. Overall, this computer works fine, it gets the job done. But it takes a while to get use to it.

Great size and speed, happy overall. Love the touch screen and solid State Drive. Only negative is that opening it up takes more force than it should. (no place to grab it to open easily.) Yes we are happy with the purchase. We also purchased a second Yoga for another family member.

I've had Lenovos before and, expecting the same great quality, got the 14" Yoga 710 after returning a defective Dell. The display is excellent and maximized in size by extending closer to the edges, and sound is great as well, with excellent speaker volume. However, I don't understand the logic behind reducing the size of the right-side Shift key to increase the size of the page/line movement buttons. The shift key is far more important and old habits cause typing errors. But more important is that unfortunately there is a severe flicker back and forth to black screen or even freezing on the black screen that Geek Squad could not fix, so it's going back to the manufacturer to see if Lenovo can fix it. Very disappointed and crossing my fingers.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 710-14. With regard to the screen flicker, this sounds like a video driver that needs to be updated. Follow the link below to look for new video driver updates for your specific system. You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.

was going to buy a laptop that had a hard drive to start with. Then one of the sales men starting to me and explain the difference in a hard drive and a solid state. With the solid state this runs much faster the screen is much clearer and looks like u are watching HD. I'm glade for the help and making the right decision on this product.

When I first bought the computer, I loved it. It looks sleek. The screen looks amazing. Its fast. Windows Signature edition. Everything about this computer is awesome except for one thing: the fan noise. I thought I could live with it but it's horrible. The fans are either off or on full blast. Lenovo support has commented on some people's reviews telling them to check out driver/firmware updates on their site. The problem is, the last update was from 8/30/2016 and this computer is fully up to date and the fan noise still persists. I thought Lenovo has a good handle on their quality control but that does not seem to be the case. This has by far been the loudest computer I've used since my 2006 MacBook Pro that had a known cooling issue.

Right shift key too small, noisy fan, beware of Lenovo Apps, some have poor reviews. The Lenovo upgrade feature may not be a safe way to update drivers and fixes as this China-based company has been cited in the past for installing surveillance software on their laptops when this feature is activated. Battery does not last as long as advertised. If you have big hands you may what to invest in a full size keyboard. Lenovo accessories for this laptop are over priced and of flimsy construction. Yoga mouse does not include an integrated laser pointer and if dropped will more than likely break. The big selling point for this laptop is price not features. This laptop would be ideal for anyone wanting a basic laptop for general use

I purchased this laptop for my wife and HP Spectre 360 for me at same time. Ended up keeping this and returning HP. This 14 inch screen has a thin bezel and is similar in size to many 13 inch laptops. It runs fast and cool. Keyboard is easy to use and feels good. Trackpad is just the right size. Overall, great laptop for the price
