We had a Betsy (Roomba) first, but she started acting crazy. She went from being a good Roomba to being a rebel. She no longer went home and she stayed up partying all night until she passed out somewhere in the middle. LOL. Jokes aside, the Roomba stopped docking and would literally keep vacuuming until the battery drained. With this new Samsung, you can definitely see the difference. This vacuum really sucks. Sucking power is amazing! Things it has sucked up are socks, drill bits, pennies, and hair. So much hair. I grossed myself out. The Roomba was okay, but sucking power was average compared to this Samsung. I haven't tried the app yet. Hopefully, the app has improved from the last time I tried a Samsung App. I will definitely update this review in a few more months and include pictures.

The vacuum saves me time and keeps the house very clean. We live in a very dusty area with lots of wind. I let the vacuum, we call it "Sammy", clean our house four times a week. It gets under the beds and other furniture that normally we would have to move. I have dust related breathing problems and Sammy really helps with the cleaning. Since it is able to do the cleaning on it's own I have more time for other things. I am very pleased with the vacuum.

I don't have any carpet, but the tile and hardwood floors get plenty dirty, the Powerbot does a great job of sucking up all the dust and hair off the floors. The remote phone app works well to schedule and get details of the robots status anywhere that you have internet access. The only problems I have had is the Powerbot sucking up bath mats, but the robot senses that there is a problem and shuts down.

This was the best purchase I ever made, don't regretted, this Vaccum have made my life so much easier and does the job right. I would recommend this Vaccum.

Picks up a lot of dirt and dog hair. We run every day on schedule and have not had any significant problems. It does occasionally get stuck between the legs of our dining room chairs. Most of our surface is travertine and moves around freely. Unit has found its way back to charger 99% of the time. Purchased on sale for $495. Just hopeful it continues to work as it is now.

Having two dogs that shed it was a constant battle to keep up with the dust bunnies all over the hardwood floors (Not anymore). Covers the entire 1,500 sq ft of our downstairs with no problems. Transitions from the hardwoods to the carpet with no issue. There is a learning curve for the vacuum though so be patient. It will take about a week for it to really learn the floor plan of your home or office. You will learn what it can and can not vacuum over or through. Once you figure that out its wonderful. All you have to do from then on is just empty the container once a day and your good to go. Plan on spending about an hour watching this thing work for the first time. LOL

This vacuum has very good suction compared to my neato and roomba. Love the wifi, never got lost finding the dock like the other two. Only complaint is the edge and corner cleaning. I have 1800 sqft of bamboo on the main level with two dogs and doesn't pick up the common hair in common build up areas. Wouldn't even attempt to.. which is sad.

All thought the powerbot has good suction power, suction means nothing if it can't get to the dirt! The power bot is odd it will not go across air vents, can't get under furniture or clean along kick boards. So I purchased a roomba 880 which has no problem with the above mentioned.

It works great. I've to to robot proof my house. There are a couple of places it gets caught and can't get itseft free.

Great vacuum. Gets a lot of debris and pet hair, even after you have swept with a broom. The only downfall is the loud noise it makes on occasion, my guess to push the debris out of the tube into the collection reservoir. It might wake you up in the middle of the night if you are a light sleeper.

This is my first robot. I chose it because Samsung is known for their excellent electronics. It is such an awesome little machine. It cleans throughly. I have concrete floors, 2 dogs, and 3 kids. I run this robot daily. The dirt cup must be emptied daily, but it is larger than its competitors. I am very pleased with my new little housework helper!!

After spending hours doing research into other bots and the powerbot, reading negative reviews and positive reviews on each product. In the end I settled with the powerbot essential. One of the main reasons was the wifi capabilities. I have been setting up my smart home for a few weeks now and this compliments it. Also for those that worry about having to purchase add ons you do not need the Samsung smart hub to work it in a smart home. It works great with my Google Home device. I used ifttt and set up with an Android device. I tell it to clean and stop cleaning. It's turned into a game. I named him Bemo and tell him verbally to get to work or you're finished. It can get stuck under objects and yes it can find any and every wire left on the ground,. If there is a issue, the little guy sends me a text message and I tell it to go home or wait for help. The biggest help you can give is keep wires off of the ground, that and hair bands. When it comes to cleaning it takes seconds to easily pull out his bag less bin and dump it. The second filter can be changed out in seconds while the other filter is drying off after rinsing it off. I have had no issues and just in case I purchased Best Buys great warranty. When other products that had wifi for a few 100 dollars more. This is well worth the money, it's mapping system is also excellent. I will say this again, anyone looking to work on their smart home this is an amazing product that compliments your smart home.

mother in law and husband have trouble with the cleaning of their floors due to illnesses. This product put huge smiles on both their faces. After a few weeks they are super pleased that we made this choice. It cleans and is not loud at all. Their cat even likes it. I got tired of seeing dust and little bits of debris on my floor even vacuuming every week. Set this baby up and it runs while we're away. A couple of times it has run out of juice before it made it to its home but it's not a big deal. The debris reservoir is adequate for emptying weekly. It handles corners and both bare and carpeted floor very well.

Easy setup, long battery life. Easy to clean. very quiet.

I loved the power but was a little too loud on high power & a little to big to fit under furniture. Keep getting stuck under my radiators. Had to return

This is the second robot vacuum I have owned and t works great. It cleans the floor well and picks up both small and large items from the ground. Efficient mapping settings and a handy remote included. Wireless too and able to be controlled from anywhere as long as you have wireless internet.

This robot vacuum cleaner has great suction power, goes around furniture well and doesn't vacuum randomly like some of these kinds of vacuums do. It has an easy-to-clean filter and canister. I find myself vacuuming a lot more with it. Too bad it doesn't do steps on its own, too.
