A: Thanks for your interest. As of June 2014, all RF32FMQDBSR, as well as other Samsung 4-Door Flex Refrigerators, use only R134A refrigerant in both compressors. - Ms. Samsung

A: Thanks for your interest in the RF32FMQDBSR. The change in the capacity from 31.7 cubic feet to 30.4 cubic feet, and in the estimated yearly energy usage from $61 to $89, are a result of changes to Energy Star's measurement and testing standards that went into effect in September 2014. The actual design and efficiency of the refrigerator hasn't changed; though the information may not yet have been updated everywhere to reflect the new standards. Q: How much space does this refrigerator need to work efficiently since there are vents on both side?
A: Thanks for choosing Samsung! The RF32FMQDBSR and several other Samsung Refrigerators have vents on the side in addition to the back to help increase their energy efficiency. Samsung recommends leaving at least 3/8" on each side of the Refrigerator as well as 1" behind it for air circulation and ease of movement. - Ms. Samsung
Q: Getting it through the door!
A: When mine was delivered, it came with the doors already off. The installers had to put the doors on after it was in the kitchen. Even then, it barely squeaked through the door.
Q: Will this model be available in counter depth?

I can't speculate as to whether this 4-door French Door with the Convertible Zone will become available in a counter depth design at some point in the future. A: I have had the same issues. Been working with Samsung for a while. To make it worse, the fridge uses R600 refrigerant which no one wants to work on.
