Q: Is this dryer Energy Star rated?
A: Energy Star does not currently have a system for rating the efficiency of dryers, though they may reevaluate the need for such a program in the future. However, it's worth noting that the high spin speeds available on Samsung washing machines, along with the Sensor Dry options on the dryers themselves, do help to reduce the amount of energy used to dry your laundry. In addition, another Samsung dryer, the DV457 (/A1 versions), recently received Energy Star's prestigious Emerging Technology Award in recognition of its energy efficiency through new, innovative technology. Q: dimensions not in specs. Can other be used to troubleshoot?
A: Thank you for the questions. The DV456 measures 27" wide by 43-7⁄8" high by 30" deep with the door closed, and 49-7/8" deep with the door open 90°. For clearance requirements and other installation information, please refer to the user manual which can be downloaded as a pdf file from Samsung's website.
