A: The TV will be about 3 inches from the wall when it is not extended with the MF215.
Q: Where do you put the cable box?
A: There is a wall shelve that you can purchase that fastens to the wall, model VMA401-B1
Q: how do I remove the mounting bracket to change t v?
A: The best method would be to decouple the wall bracket arm from the TV bracket. There is a vertical 1" stainless pin that supports the TV bracket. The Pin is hidden in that hinge housing and has a 5" long bolt with Allen wrench head on top and locking nut at the bottom that holds that assembly securely together. Unscrew the bolt from the top, remove the locking nut from the bottom and carefully lift the TV until the TV bracket is completely of the 1" pin. You can then remove the TV bracket to swap out your TV.
Q: Can this mount work on a 42", weight under 30 lbs?
A: This mount can work on just about any TV with a VESA mounting pattern up to 200mm x 200mm. Many 42" TVs have VESA 400 mounting, so although the bracket is strong enough to hold any modern TV, the back plate would not reach the mounting holes.
Q: How far off the wall will tv sit when pushed flat
A: We mounted our TV in a corner, at an angle, so (in our case), the TV would not be able to be pushed flat against a wall. However, the box states that the range is between 3.25" to 15.5" when extended.
Q: Will this mount work with a 32" Dynex - Model #DX-32L221 A12??
A: Our tv is a 32 inch Proscan and it fits great on the bracket.
Q: How does the built-in wire management work?
A: You will be able to feed\fish the cables through the inside of the arm assembly from the TV to the wall , that is basically all the cable management is. We do not provide anything additional from the wall to the outlet.
